Darfield: Homebush School Cottage

Homebush Cottage is part of the 120 yr. old former Homebush School, located on the Southern Scenic Route and close to popular Skifields, Lakes and amazing tourist destinations, thus making us the perfect stopover. The cottage is set on 3 acres including beautiful rambling gardens and tennis court. The accommodation is decorated in a comfortable cottage style suitable for a couple. We provide a self catering breakfast including free range eggs from Orpington hens so no need to worry about food !!

Te Waihora Lodge is a lovely farmstead accomodation, there is Toby the friendly and ever hungry KuneKune Pig, the Sheep and the Turkeys all residing on 20 arce's of Lakeside Beauty. Picturesque Lake Ellesmere is across the road, with 50,000 birds at last count making it a bird watchers haven.
