We are about 4.4 miles from the Buffalo Mountain Trail Head, access to Buffalo Moutain Trail 10 (WV Swing Overlook) is about 3.5 Miles away & Trail 12 about 3 Miles. About 2 Miles from Outlaw trails. Access to Devil Anse & Rockhouse Trails. The closest gas station is less than 3 miles away, who sells Hatfield & McCoy Trail passes. We are less than 5 Miles away from Shopping, Restaurants, & additional Gas Stations.

The Hilltop House is located less than a half mile from the Devil Anse trailhead and under 1 mile from downtown Matewan WV. This beautifully remodeled home (2023) is designed for riders that want more from where they stay, The Hilltop house has great privacy and beautiful views in addition to being packed with features both inside and out. This home is designed for a maximum of 6 guests, please do not book if you have more than 6 in your party without hosts prior approval.

The Depot -Luxury Rental

Your group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Our house is ideal for traveling medical/business professionals, or families visiting the area. It is not suitable for ATV trail riders because we have no parking space available for trailers/ UTV’s, or SxS’s. We are 0.6 miles from Mingo County Courthouse and Williamson Health and Wellness Center, 1.3 miles to Tug Valley ARH Medical Center, 30 minutes drive to Pikeville Medical Center.

The Wild & Wonderful

Plan your next stay at the Wild and Wonderful. It’s a newly updated home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and enough beds to sleep around 10 people. Plenty of parking for at least 2 trucks and trailers. More can fit but it is a little tighter. The Hatfield and McCoy trails are within a hundred feet. It is also located very close to the town of Matewan. 

The Burg

Enjoy local venues, The MAC, Planetarium, Jenny Wiley Lake, 1620 Distilling Company, hiking, biking, wildlife, local artisans and crafts. Home to Loretta Lynn's, Butcher Holler. Civil War History. Close to downtown shopping, walking distance to dining, coffee shops, and bakery. There are 2 rather short flights of stairs to access this unit.

Bourbon House

The prime place for outdoor enthusiasts. Minutes from the Hatfield McCoy trail systems, the Kentucky Hillbilly trail systems, kayaking and fishing in the tug fork river. Local amenities such as the mall, restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores. All of this helps to make your stay heavenly!

Quiet apart. w/ kitchen, laundry

Enjoy a restful nights sleep in one of the two premium queen beds. Light blocking shades, work desk, large capacity washer/dryer and other thoughtful touches should take care of any needs you may have. I am easy to contact and communicate with should you need anything at all.
