It was our First visit to Darjeeling, and we should say we never felt we were away from home. Thanks to Amit for providing such a wonderful experience through out our stay. food was really tasty and was served hot. Dining area was providing a great view of the town.

Swaroop’s house is beautifully curated with a lot of thought about prospective guests. It is huge and can house easily 10-12 people. The food provided was homemade and delectable. Swaroop and his team were helpful and made us feel right at home. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. My one warning would be: if you are driving here- please note the last 5 mins of the drive is wobbly and can make going out by car a task. Walking is fine though. Recommend 🌸

What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

If you’re looking for a remote getaway that offers privacy and the charm of village and farm living, this is the perfect place. My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautifully maintained, and the hospitality provided by the host and their family was exceptional. From the homemade, organic food to the locally crafted liquor, everything was delicious and healthy. The barbecue prepared by the host was a highlight—absolutely “yum yum”! They also went above and beyond to assist us with local sightseeing, making our experience even more memorable. A special mention goes to the host’s sweet grandmother, their lovely niece Neema, and their adorable dog Snoopy, who added so much warmth and joy to our stay. Thank you, Dwakapa, for an unforgettable experience in Yuksom. We’d love to visit again someday!

The place was absolutely magical! The house was super cozy and good for a group stay. Prayag is an absolutely wonderful host and helps to take care of everything. The view from the place is beautiful , rooms are cozy and clean. Overall - good stay and Would definitely like to come back here :)

It was a lovely stay at the Mimani’s Retreat. I stayed with my parents, Mamaji and Mamiji. Their rooms were spacious and well kept, which matched the description on their page. Rajeev was an excellent host and guided us about our local itinerary and was very responsive all the time. The location is ideal as it is away from the crowded city centre but still close by. One additional perk of the property, was the pretty garden ideal for morning and evening tea. We would love to come back and stay.

This is a spacious house, good place to work. the kitchen is big. There are multiple shops nearby so getting supplies is easy. it's easy to commute between here and the city centre but going up can sometimes take a bit of time. hosts were very helpful with things like Laundry, getting a two wheeler on rent etc. overall my stay was very comfortable and it was a decent place to work.

The place was good from inside. The look of the building from outside may not seem appealing as it's an old apartment, perhaps from 1930s. But, the house is beautifully decorated in the inside and offers an amazing view of the Kanchenjunga from every room. We had the entire place to ourselves, so it offers privacy. Hemanto, the caretaker was very responsive and friendly. He was always available for all our queries and everything we needed. I can't really thank Marina, the helper, enough. She helped us with the chores. She kept the house squeaky clean. I traveled with three senior citizens, one of them couldn't travel most of the days and stayed in, Marina heated and served her the food we kept and stayed till she ate. There are a few cons: - There are forty steep stairs to climb. This should be highlighted instead of just mentioning in a sentence in the long description. - The bathroom ceiling in the first bedroom is broken and the bathroom stinks.

My 17 year old daughter along with her 5 friends stayed at Siddharth's place from 23rd to 27th April 2025. The homestay is located in a residential area around a 6 mins walk to Chowrasta or the mall road. Vehicles go upto the Maple Lodge from where it's about a 2 min walk. It's well connected and can be accessed from different routes as required. The place is very safe too. Siddharth was very sweet and had provided some milk, eggs and wai wai which the girls loved. Tea and sugar was also provided. There's RO water supply in the apartment, which is a major plus. The rooms are exactly as described. The caretaker Prashant was very helpful and took immediate action whenever required. Overall it was a great stay and is highly recommended for family and friends vacation. I would love to stay at The Meadows when I visit Darjeeling next, which I hope is soon. Thanks for everything Siddharth, Aahana and her friends were very comfortable at your place and enjoyed a restful stay.

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits dans cet Airbnb, les hôtes sont très sympathique, accueillant, bienvaillant, à l'écoute, réactif... Ils nous ont bien aidez pour améliorer la qualité de notre voyage. Le lieu propose une très belle vue. Leur restaurant juste au dessus d'où l'on dormait été très bien et proposé des plats délicieux. Pour la propreté, le rangement, la vesselle... Tout était bien fait. Endroit fait pour être en famille, en ami ou même tout seul. Le rapport qualité prix est bien. Je recommande vivement cet Airbnb pour toute ses qualités. J'espère revenir bientôt !

Tranquil, that's how I felt at Eshab's Homestay. It was really a home away from home. The friendly doggos and the ever so attentive staff were always ready to assist with a smile. Food at the restaurant was delicious, the never ending cups of steaming hot milk tea, the drizzle of the rain and the cold crisp air was perfect indeed. We were regaled with karaoke at their bar and restaurant, and on our last night, upon the owner's insistence, we even gave it a shot! We stayed for 4 nights and it was worth it. We did a fair bit of sightseeing (Pelling, Chakung etc) and leisurely walks up to the monastery and the falls. They even provide you with umbrellas! Everything was well managed by the kind staff - Alisha, Rohit, Susma, Kabita and a few others including the happy and helpful young men who drove us around ( namely RK, Pasang and Tashi) - and the pleasant and chatty owner, Kesang's dad who was a total sweetheart! Thank you to all of you for your care. X

Awesome place to stay with your family. The surroundings are very peaceful. The property has all necessary amenities like geyser, washing machine, refrigerator, gas stove etc. Provision stores and a basic eatery are under the same building. A great time spent in a great place.
