Really peaceful, private spot with great amenities and proximity to great beaches. Extremely well appointed with high end furniture and appliances. Pool is right across the street. Everything you need for the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, etc). Overall a wonderful spot that we would be happy to visit again.

We spent 8 nights here, and found it to be perfect for our family of five (our kids are two teenagers and an 11yo). The kitchen had everything we could need/want, and then some--and the same was true for the enertainment/activity supplies (board games, Roku, beach chairs and towels, snorkeling equipment, tennis rackets/balls and a basketball and even a couple scooters). The pool and hot tub were beautiful (although the low-key vibe of the pool rules was a bit disappointing for our 11yo--but we made up for it by purchasing a day pass for the nearby Hilton pool a couple days), and the bar and restaurant at the pool were very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did our best to see the whole island, and this was a great home base for the week.

This was our second stay at Sandra’s place and we loved it! Sandra’s place is clean and beautiful. We enjoyed looking for geckos and mongooses on the lanai.

The house was perfect for our large group. Six bedrooms had ample space for everyone, and 4 bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get showers in very little time. Both kitchens had more than enough cookware and even some basic spices. Bathrooms had plenty of towels, toilet paper, and some basic toiletries. There were plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, swim masks, snorkel masks, coolers, and beach toys for our group to have fun at the beaches as well. Check in was easy with the key code on the door, which also made it easy for people in our large group to come and go independently. Host was friendly, accommodating, and easy to talk to. Good location. The younger adults on our group were able to go into town independently to enjoy Kona on their own. Reasonably priced, and would stay here again Our only criticism is that the air conditioners listed were just tower fans. We were ok for our stay in April, but a stay in the summer months without air conditioning would be problematic.

This is a secure and peaceful gated resort. The unit was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with a dishwasher but had a prompt response and a credit since it was not fixed during our stay because of the holidays. The resort is located in a clean and quiet neighborhood, but there is not much you can do there: it is quite a walk to the ocean and nearby shops, so you definitely need a car to get around and enjoy Hawaii Kona Island. Ocean is only swimmable near Marriott resort, which is a 5 minutes drive. Parking with ocean access is available, but it is another 15-20 minutes walk. There are only a few nice beaches nearby. Hapuna Beach, for example, is 15-20 minutes drive. Other beaches in the area are rocky and dangerous for swimming. The pool in the resort is clean but small and crowded... But overall, we had a good family gathering and did enjoy our vacation.

Beautiful home, great location for a quiet vacation. There’s plenty of great relaxing beaches within a 20 minute radius. The home is fully equipped for beach days, has a stocked kitchen with pots and pans, a great top loading washer, front loading dryer and an awesome AC system that will keep you cool .There’s a few grocery stores around within 5-15 minutes, but if you’re looking to cook at home more there’s Safeway, Costco and Island Naturals about 40-45 minutes away that has more selection of foods. Planning ahead helps diminish the drives to the grocery store.

This place was incredible, more than enough room and so spacious, would easily recommend this location for anyone traveling to Kona, or surrounding areas as the drive anywhere is still well doable, very much worth the price and wish the best for this property!

Great place in calm area ! The host live near the Airbnb so if you need anything they are here to help. Great kitchen and well equipped (French press, toaster, blender ...). You can here the coqui frogs during the night, we liked it but if you like sleeping without noise maybe bring earplugs. We would definitely come back if you go around Kona again !

We love staying at the Fairways at Mauni Lani! The house was perfect for our family of four traveling with my Mom. Kitchen is well stocked and the activities equipment closest is amazing for the beach! Walking distance to a grocery store and easy access to the beach and to the hotels nearby. We can’t wait to come back again!

The condo was very comfortable and spacious! Having two full bathrooms with this one bedroom was a plus. The king bed was super comfortable! The communication with Gladys was excellent and she responded quickly if you had any questions . She went far and beyond to make sure you were comfortable and enjoying your stay! The location was super close to a lot of the restaurants / shops and nearby Kona beaches. Would stay here again! Thank you Gladys!

For our first vacation to the Big Island, this place did not disappoint! Each morning we woke up to beautiful views of tropical plants, the ocean, and open sky. It was a great way to start the day! The location is great, with gas, groceries, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The best areas in Kona are 10-20 minutes away. We really enjoyed staying here, and would definitely stay here again.

Van was a very kind and responsive host. The home was clean and comfortable. Nicely updated kitchen and living area. We’d consider staying there again.

Honestly, the pictures don't do this property justice. It was so spacious. That area is lovely. The unit it across from the pool, which was super convenient. BUT it is easily the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in. If you plan on cooking at home (which we did a lot of) its a dream. We did have a little issue with the BBQ which Wayne sorted immediately. A nice touch that the pantry had leftovers from previous guests (which we also added to). I would stay here again and again. Grateful that this was our place for our first trip to the big island. Rent it, you wont regret it.

I couldn't be happier with my experience. The location was ideal making it easy for me to commute to and from the Waikoloa resort where the Native Hawaiian Convention was held. The apartment was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

5 stars isn't enough! This place deserves 10! My wife and I had a wonderful time at Gails townhome. The location was great, the home was spotless and clean, the amenities were as described and advertized. Everything you need and more is there for cooking meals. The beach club was an extra special bonus that I overlooked on the listing site. A short 2 mile drive to a very calm, beautiful beach. We highly recommend this vacation rental. 10 stars!!!

We had a great time at Michel's place. We visit Waikoloa frequently, but this was our first time in this condo complex. He gave us the access information and a very detailed guide book a few days in advance so we would have plenty of time to review it. His place had everything you could possibly need and was very well labeled. He is very responsive although we didn't have any issues. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed in this place for couple of days and it was perfect. Stephanie is very friendly and the communication with her was great, also. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did ❤️

Perfect spot for getting around and extremely convenient. The house is beautiful and spotless. This house is great for families and I highly recommend staying here. My family had so much fun and loved our stay.

Villa Lava really is a gem! The place itself is really nice, very spacious and comfortable. It was very clean and stocked with everything you could need (including great beach gear). The location of Villa Lava in the Fairways is absolutely perfect- with access to the Mauna Lani beach club, a really nice pool, the fish ponds, and so many wonderful adventures. Janine provided really helpful tips and suggestions, and was so nice and responsive. Highly recommend. If you are planning a trip to the Big Island!

Beautiful oasis in the west coast lava fields of Hawaii. Short drive from the airport. Located in upscale Mauna Lani development with shops, restaurants and a grocery in walking distance. The ground level condo was exactly as described. Well appointed and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The secured grounds were lush and well maintained with a great pool/spa and small gym. Access to the beach club was clutch with food, drinks, cabanas and the best snorkeling around. The Kalahuipua'a park the condo overlooks was breath takingly beautiful and there is petroglyph field is nearby as well. Noah was a gracious host. I don't think we could have stayed at a better place on the island. It was just perfect!

Beautiful place in a fantastic location. Easy walking distance to 2 strip malls and a couple beaches. This house is equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay - a well stocked kitchen, lounge chaira for relaxing outside, and plenty of beach items. The area is also very quiet and the beds are very comfortable. Overall a fantastic place to stay at!

I had a great stay at this place! The house is very nice, clean, and spacious, with a wide-open view that includes the coastline. The room is well-ventilated, which makes it quite cool at night. It even got a bit chilly, but the host was very responsible and thoughtfully brought us some extra blankets. There is plenty of parking available downstairs, which made it really convenient. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this place!

The condo was in a great location with lots of restaurants and things to do in close proximity. Caroline also provided great amenities - she had everything we needed including pool/beach towels and a ton of beach gear! The home was very clean, well maintained and Caroline was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. We highly recommend a stay here - we had a great time!!

Awesome place to stay. Close to nice beaches and groceries. Plenty of room for the family. Loved the beach supplies in the garage - 4 beach chairs, coolers, water toys, tennis rackets, beach umbrella. Beach towels in the linen closet. Bed was so comfy. View of the smaller pool and mountains from the lanai. Thankful for aloe someone left behind. ;) Wish there was a receptacle for recycling. The condos are numbered a bit oddly, but just keep at it. Beautiful place and Amiee was beyond hospitable. Much Aloha!
