Cozy Three Story Lookout Tower

Thank you for your interest in The Cozy Lookout Tower! Our unique vacation home is really a destination location rather than just a place to stay while you explore the area. Many of our guests are repeat guests that use our home as a place to recharge, relax, cook, read, talk, play games and connect with that special someone. There are some lovely hikes in the area, we encourage you to bring your dog and enjoy the beautiful surroundings by taking some hikes then returning for a soak in the tub!

Smith Rock Hideout - Cascade mountain views

The Hideout is a cozy and convenient base camp for climbers, hikers, trail runners, digital nomads, and anyone wanting to relax and explore the beauty of Central Oregon. Just 8 minutes to Smith Rock! Take in the views of the Cascade mountains and farmland beyond while relaxing on the covered porch. The Hideout is my personal semi-rural retreat. While away, I’m happy to share it with outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy creature comforts after a day of getting after it outdoors. Longer stays welcome!

High Desert Adventure Suite

Our guest suite provides a comfortable home-base for anyone looking to explore the high desert. We are just a 5 minute drive from Smith Rock State Park and we provide a parking pass for guests to use. Our neighborhood is quiet and our home is on a cul-de-sac. The suite has two rooms; one is a spacious designated bedroom with a queen bed, the other doubles as a second bedroom and living space with a daybed and trundle bed. The suite has it's own private patio and a bit of a view of Smith Rock.

This gorgeous, welcoming, solar-powered house offers self check-in, speedy WiFi, and complimentary craft beer and coffee. It's located just a couple blocks from downtown, 5 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Crooked River Canyon, 15 minutes from Smith Rock, and 20 minutes from Bend. 4 breweries & 3 taprooms are located less than 6 blocks away, and tons of restaurants & shops are close by. Amazing nearby hiking options abound. This space is half of a duplex. No pets or parties allowed.

You'll enjoy the main house with the best views of Smith Rock and the Cascade mountains. Smith Rock State Park is literally across the street. A great location for outdoor activities at the park or in the region. Hike, climb, bike, walk or jog around the park. Sip tea inside and watch the animals. Perfect for artist and photographers. It is positioned on the edge of the Crooked River Gorge with breathtaking views of the canyon. Near the cabin is a trail head to a private hiking trail that takes the adventurer down into the canyon where the scenery is otherworldly. Enjoy a sunset with full cascade Mountain View’s, green pastures, and grazing horses.

Steelhead Falls Log Cabin

Enjoy a restful time in our waterfront log cabin along the Deschutes River. Location is perfect for watching wildlife, fly fishing, quiet relaxation, and has easy access to hiking and rock climbing at Smith Rock and Lake Billy Chinook. Steelhead Falls is a a short hike away. Bend and Sisters are near. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate even small weddings. We recommend access to AWD vehicle with either chains or snow tires in winter. Dog friendly- sorry, no cats.
