Also, if you love friendly pets it would be an additional reason for you. Initially you might feel that the place is bit far from the mall road but it will take only around 250 bucks to reach there. Here you will meet Mr. Andrew with his simple but delicious dishes cooked with great care and love and be sure that he will make you feel this place as your own home.

A nice little stay at darjeeling away from Hustle and bustle of the main town where it was congested. Aswath helped to make us confortable from day 1 and he even helped book a taxi for our sightseeing. He suggested places to see and was very responsive for all my questions. On day 1, he even got my zomato delivery since it took me time to reach the place. When I need to take a printout , he took me to another homestay that had a printer. The place is quite far from town and we have to walk to mall road using the bylanes to reach the top, which takes around 20 mins. But once you reach mall road, we can find a host of restaurants and shops. The view from the airbnb is awesome. My daughter got sick with food poisoning and she soiled the sheets. Aswath was very accommodative and suggested medicines to buy for her and showed genuine concern. Even after leaving place, he kept checking on us whether we reached safely. I would highly recommend Aswaths place.

Our recent stay at Darjeeling Dhiraj’s Homestay was truly delightful. Despite the homestay being located about 200 meters up a steep hill, it is manageable for us. My family, including my 65-year-old father, had no trouble reaching the homestay, and the effort was well worth it. The location offers a breathtaking terrace view, perfect for soaking in the serene beauty of Darjeeling. The amenities were well-maintained, and cleanliness was up to the mark, adding to the comfort of our stay. One of the standout aspects was the exceptional hospitality. The hosts were consistently responsible and helpful, ensuring that our visit was smooth and enjoyable. Their warm and accommodating nature truly made our trip more meaningful and comfortable. It was our First visit to Darjeeling, and we should say we never felt we were away from home. Thanks to Amit for providing such a wonderful experience through out our stay. food was really tasty and was served hot. Dining area was providing a great view of the town.

We had an awesome stay, the view from balcony is just beautiful. The caretaker are extremely helpful. My daughter had a fun time with Aradhya , she is yogita s niece. The food prepared by them was simple and tasty. They even helped us with luggage and cab booking. Just one advice while reaching the property enter the village from zoo side and not happy valley tea garden bcoz the road is very scary.

If you like to spend your vacation away from the city's hustle and bustle and like to be in the nature lap where birds sound will give you a morning alarm, then this is the perfect place for you. The host was very helpful. Shreya's brother Suraj and his wife were there. When we reached the place, they served us an awesome homemade lunch and tea and then gave us a nature walk around the property. Their very friendly dog was a special attraction for our daughter. Suraj sir has even explained how they pluck tea leaves and dry them to make tea to our daughter. Even on the day of check out, we had to leave early morning, around 6 am, but Suraj sir was kind that he even brought tea on that morning without even mentioning it. It really felt like home. We even saw the sunrise from our cottage view was literally awesome. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing is you need to hike a little to enter the cottage, but they will definitely help you with your luggage.

It was pleasure to stay at oasis apartment hosted by praggya lama. First thing it was at walkable distance from all major places i.e zoological park is 5 min away, chaurasta mall road is 10 min walk darjeeling joy ride is also 3 kms from apartment. If you are travelling with senior citizens with knee problem it is the best place to stay. Host praggya was very nice and friendly in nature and helped every way possible also ambience of the homestay is good as shown in photos. Thank you praggya ji it was nice to meet you and will recommend others also in future.

We were extremely happy with the homestay. It is cute and cozy, and the patio is the highlight. The views are amazing. The homestay is a 15 minutes walk from mall, hence the approach is also accessible. It is a great option for people who are not averse to walking a little. We truly enjoyed our stay. A good place to stay. At a walkable distance from the Mall road, the place is well maintained and provides all the basic amenities. The hosts are really great and very responsive.

Here's a detailed review from our experience - The place was pretty easy to spot using GMaps and the guidance given by Mr Yougal. He's been extremely generous and hospitable throughout our stay. The house is equipped with possibly every utility one could think of. Every nook and corner has something to offer, extreme attention to detail. For instance, one can even find a large umbrella for those downpours (When you're not prepared! 😛). The living area is laden with items like snacks, tea, coffee, etc nicely tucked into the tight spaces. Location also is pretty central, one can easily find taxis to plan commutes anywhere in Darjeeling. Mr Yougal can help connect with friendly local cab drivers to plan any travel.

The home was cozy, clean, and exactly as shown, but what truly made the stay special was Prajwal himself. He’s incredibly supportive—not just with daily essentials, but also when it comes to relocating or navigating life in Siliguri. He helped me with transport arrangements, shared local insights, and made settling into the city so much easier. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with a genuinely helpful host, this is the place!

The place was good from inside. The look of the building from outside may not seem appealing as it's an old apartment, perhaps from 1930s. But, the house is beautifully decorated in the inside and offers an amazing view of the Kanchenjunga from every room. We had the entire place to ourselves, so it offers privacy. Hemanto, the caretaker was very responsive and friendly. He was always available for all our queries and everything we needed. I can't really thank Marina, the helper, enough. She helped us with the chores. She kept the house squeaky clean. I traveled with three senior citizens, one of them couldn't travel most of the days and stayed in, Marina heated and served her the food we kept and stayed till she ate. There are a few cons: - There are forty steep stairs to climb. This should be highlighted instead of just mentioning in a sentence in the long description. - The bathroom ceiling in the first bedroom is broken and the bathroom stinks.
