We had a fantastic stay at Mr. Chandra’s place in Gangtok! He was constantly in touch with us ensuring a smooth arrival. His warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The room was cozy, spotless, and perfect for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the absolutely wonderful home-cooked dinner — delicious, wholesome, and made with so much care. Mr. Chandra goes above and beyond to make his guests feel welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Gangtok!

It was a Memorable stay at kessang’s homestay…extremely peaceful & pristine environment, surrounded with forest, organic farms…home cooked meals made from local ingredients…he is a great chef, I enjoyed every meal he prepared…perfect place if you are also travelling with your pets….lots to do around, places to visit….overall had a wonderful stay here….will visit again…

I had a wonderful time at the Meghmala home stay in Rimbick. The host (Uncle & Aunty) was very friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy and clean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, and I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning and the night view of mountain was so mesmerizing. The home stay was also close to many attractions, such as the Manendra Samten Monastery, 105years old, the Srikhola Bridge, and the Lodhama Hydro Power plant. Network connectivity is also good, I will suggest to use Jio network, as it has best connectivity in this entire region. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the beauty and peace of Rimbick, Darjeeling.

I had a lovely stay at Sangdup's countryside homestay in the hills of Upper Dzongu. There are walkable trails and the surrounding is quite nice and peaceful. The altitude of the place is lower than that of Gangtok, so it's not as cold and high-altitude-exotic/stunning as some of the other North Sikkim tourist destinations, but I enjoyed the vibe of being in nature. Sangdup and his family are quite helpful and try to create a good experience for you. It's worth noting though that in order to reach the homestay you have to climb some 130 stairs. Everytime you need to go down for a car ride or for a hike you have to climb stairs.

We had a wonderful stay at Sonam's place in Gangtok! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and suggest places to visit around the city. The caretaker, Nima, was outstanding—always available and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food was delicious, homely, and very affordable—just what we needed after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga right from the property—absolutely mesmerizing! Highly recommend this place for groups of friends, families, or couples looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway in Gangtok. 😊

Tucked away in the hills, Relaimi Homestay was a peaceful retreat for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, Sujata and Nischal welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel instantly at home. The homestay itself was cozy and charming, with large windows opening to misty mountains. A highlight of our stay was Sujata’s incredible home-cooked meals. Her chicken momos, served with tangy chutney, were unforgettable. The Nepali thali—dal, bhaat, vegetables, and achaar—was wholesome and comforting. If you love mountain air, meaningful conversations, and soulful home-cooked meals, Relaimi Homestay is the perfect escape, it offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that stays with you. Infact we booked the stay only for 3 days and then extended to another 2 days and we can’t wait to return here again.

We recently had the privilege of staying at Green Hamlet, a mountain villa, nestled amidst the stunning peaks, Green Hamlet is exactly like shown in the photos. It is really beautiful with spacious rooms and washrooms, perfect for a family get together. The villa itself was beautifully designed with a blend of modern comforts and traditional architecture. The interiors were spacious, with large windows allowing us to fully appreciate the surrounding landscape. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff ensured that all our needs were met promptly. The highlight of our stay was the tranquility that enveloped the villa, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hospitality was top notch and the staffs were attentive. Even the food made was tasty. Prabha went above and beyond to assist with always helpful and enthusiastic, created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like family.
