This place is a true getaway. A little hard to find on your own or with a taxi driver unfamiliar with the area but Ashish helped us find a local driver who got us there no problem, and Ashish was there personally to help us check in. We were three adults and four kids (8, 9, 10, 14) and had plenty of space for sleeping. Nepali style mattresses were relatively comfy. Kids enjoyed picking and eating mulberries. That tree also brought a multitude of different birds which was a real treat. Kitchen well stocked but bring your own groceries if you want to cook, as there aren’t many nearby stores. Breakfast is included, for which Ashish gives you lots of options, and if you don’t want to cook there is great momos and dal baht at the Kotdanda Valley View Restaurant, just a five minute walk away. The glass house, or solarium, was a favorite space for the kids to play and imagine. It’s also where they slept, with an amazing view of the city lights below. We had a wonderful time!

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy and beautiful accommodation. The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything. The place itself was warm and inviting, with lovely details that made it feel like home. Rashil and Kiwako were outstanding hosts. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their hospitality really made a difference and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and charming spot to stay. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area!

We had a fantastic stay at Veronica and Raajib's place. The house is absolutely beautiful, super nicely decorated with a lot of plants in and around the house, and offers amazing views. It's a perfect getaway. Additionaly, Veronica and Raajib were very responsive and caring, and offered help with anything we needed. I can highly recommend this gem.

Christian and his family are saints, we had a very perilous journey on scooter from Sauraha to Pharping and were kindly received by these incredible hosts, warm comfy beds in creative bamboo houses on top of an incredible valley filled with wildlife. The Pharping area is definitely worth a trip from KTM, Darkshinkali temple cannot be missed, and Tibetan Buddhism is massive here, more monastries than I can count. Amazing.

Amazing experience. I had a great stay and was very nicely welcomed and helped by Ram in and his family in everything I needed. For me it will be the place to stay in Nepal again in the future. Thank you Ram, Lakshmi and Biva. 🙏🏼

Shivdarshan is the greatest host who you would ever meet. He is always responsive and helpful. Polite to the guest and direct the affordable and suitable method of transportation and as such. Generally saying, it was a great pleasure to have a stay at his place.

Amazing place for escape with your friends from hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Highly recommended!

It is most probably the best and peaceful place to stay

I must say Rajiv is one of the wonderful hosts. Rajiv picked me up from the airport on my request and also booked a taxi for us as we were 5 people. He guided us and helped to do tge grocery as well since it was my first visit to Kathmandu.Rajiv was always responsive and answered my phone whenever needed. The check in and check out was very smooth. The way Rajiv helped me out I felt sorry that I couldn’t leave the house as it was since I had to catch a bus to pokhara in the morning. Recommended.
