Country Charm

Country Charm is a good place for travelers to unwind. We live in a long lane on an 18 acre horse farm. The full kitchen and different sleeping spaces will serve you well. There’s laundry available and good Wi-Fi. Town is 5 miles. Our Classical Conversations homeschooling family lives here with four children ages 6 -14. You will hear noises from upstairs such as walking, voices, doors, etc. We try to go to bed around 9PM, and the children are often up around 7, just so you know what to expect.

Half-Moon Cottage

Enjoy privacy in this beautifully handcrafted cottage with arched ceilings. The cottage is 2 miles from downtown Goshen - a vibrant small town with restaurants and shops. It's 1 mile from Goshen College, 45 minutes from Notre Dame and 25 minutes from the Amish town of Shipshewana. The cottage is beside a fruit, nut and berry orchard and gardens. It's adjacent to a city bike trail that links to the Pumpkinvine nature/bike trail. It's close to a train crossing (with whistle) and a busy street.

The Farm Vista

Retreat and unplug in a quite country neighborhood in the heart of Amish country. The covered porch overlooks a farm and you can see a great sunset and often wildlife as well. The apartment itself is a walkout basement with a front entrance and large windows overlooking the farm and field across the road. This apartment offers all the comforts of home with two bedrooms, a pullout sofa bed, large kitchen, living room and bathroom. This retreat provides a chance to unplug and do things together.

Private Entrance Guest Suite on the River

Stay in our studio apartment suite with private exterior door entrance. Hosts live in the rest of the house. From the backyard you can fish, kayak/canoe, paddle board, enjoy a bonfire, grill, and relax by the river. There's a king memory foam bed, sleeper sofa, and 49" TV. Remote work friendly with spacious workspace desk, fast WIFI, and coffee. The closet has a mini food prep area with mini fridge and microwave, and grill out on back patio. It's a quick 15 min drive to Notre Dame.

The Dahlia~countryside~3 BR~ND

You will be welcomed with our exceptionally clean and cozy 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom duplex/apartment and a fully furnished kitchen. There is a beautiful deck out the back door for Dahlia guests only and the big backyard is for both apprents. There is Wi-Fi available. The cozy living room has comfortable sectional couch and an easy chair. There is a pool table in the basement for those who are competitive. There is no TV (you are welcomed to bring your own if you wish). No pets please!!

Come stay in our private-access, BASEMENT apartment, while you visit our town of Shipshewana. Our home sits in the middle of 7 acres of woods. We love it here, and we hope you do too! Our goal, as your hosts, is to provide you with a reasonably priced, cozy space, where you feel like you are visiting a friend, not staying at a high end hotel. Country setting. Apartment above our garage. Attached to our house. No Smoking. No Pets. No Parties. No shared space but with the shared wall, you will here sounds from our space including garage door, voices, kitchen noise, dogs may bark, etc. we try to keep noise levels down but we live here and you may hear us. WiFi in this location is sometimes spotty.
