The stay was very pleasant and great being located in the main spot of the city. The house was cozy with spacious bedrooms and garden area. Host Anamika was very responsive and addressed all our queries patiently. Overall a great place to stay in Shillong.

I would like to mention that we had a great stay and infact the place was absolutely stunning clean and elegant. Margaret has ensured that each and every aspect is checked and maintained regularly. Excellent staff who looked after us and ensured a very comfortable stay.

We had an amazing experience renting Navaneet’s Thar Overlander for our camping trip. Navaneet was incredibly helpful throughout, assisting us in planning our itinerary and ensuring everything went smoothly. The Thar was in excellent condition, powerful, and reliable. The rooftop tent was quick and easy to set up and pack away, making the entire journey hassle-free. Overall, it was a unique and adventurous experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable overlanding trip ♥️

Three days went like a dream! The best host in the cabin was definitely Leo, the dog. It seemed like we were his family. The cabin is just like a beautiful painting, and so do the surrounding pine forest and the hills. It’s cozy, comfortable, soul healing. The evenings we spent sitting near the fireplace will remain in our fond memories forever. Will definitely try to visit the cabin again and again in the coming years. The property is nestled in a peaceful location with a beautiful view of a green hillock right in front. It is well-maintained, and the kitchen is spacious and fully equipped—perfect for those who plan to cook during their stay. Julie and Sagar were extremely helpful and prompt in their responses. Do note that the property is located about 45 minutes to an hour from Shillong city, so shopping and dining options nearby are limited. It's best to plan ahead accordingly.

The essence of Shillong lies in its Assam type bungalows. That made staying in the century old Mimosa Ridge an authentic experience. The rooms and bathrooms were *spic and span*. The nights were quite cold when we visited. So, coming back after a long walk and sitting around the heater was a treat. The bed warmer made tucking in really cosy. Restaurants are available from Laitumkhrah to Don Bosco and requires a stretched walk. So, dinner is a bit of a challenge if it is raining. Otherwise, the surroundings, especially further up the hill, is peaceful and pleasant. The driver recommended by the host was excellent. Flip side, the WiFi did not work reliably. The breakfast is great for two days but gets a tad repetitive from the third day. We would love to see more flowers around the house. All in all, we felt it was a bit expensive given that breakfast and WiFi options were limited, but our stay was memorable and we will fondly remember our stay. We recommend it highly.
