Well worth the price! To start with, the house is amazing: it really is a great place to live in, a glass cocoon by the coast. Even doing absolutely nothing all week but looking out the window at the changing light and landskape would be worth the trip. We used the hot tub almost every day, pure magic. Everything is great, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen (really really equipped, you can genuinely cook there!), but the hosts are what makes Fiska luxury accomodation.

Had a lovely four nights stay in Peerie Bugarth. The cottage was really cosy, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the views and the location was great for the local ferries. Debbie and Steve were brilliant! Thanks

What a wonderful place! Perfect if you want to get away from it all and enjoy many home comforts. Sylvia was fabulous. We arrived at dead of night in thick snow after a flight delay due to extreme weather. Sylvia quickly contacted a friendly neighbour who came around instantly with a shovel to clear the snow. Her kitchen is the best stocked one I have ever stayed at. Vidlin is a great base to explore Shetland including the far north islands of Yell and Unst. The whole area is a walkers paradise with beautiful scenery all around. Due to the season most tourist places are closed so you need to be a pretty independent traveller. Stock up on food shopping in Lerwick although there is a small convenience store a short walk away - no pubs or close by restaurants/cafes.

Great few days here. Debbie and Dave were great hosts. Wonderful breakfasts and very helpful re places to visit. Lovely peaceful beautiful surroundings. Comfortable beds and good amenities. A wonderful break. Need a car. So many good places to visit in Shetland. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A clean, comfortable property in a stunning quiet location - seemingly in the middle of nowhere but an easy 18 minute drive into Lerwick. The host was exceptional, providing a lovely welcome pack (including wine, bread, cheese, etc), fresh flowers and even offering to do some shopping on our arrival. Helpful advice was given regarding the Up Helly Aa, allowing us to fully participate, and she sent literature to us in advance. Easy parking, plentiful hot water and heating, and lots of towels! Highly recommended!

Beautifully decorated, cosy and spacious cottage, lovely woodstove fires and plenty of available (free of charge) wood to use. Scalloway is a lovely and serene and only 10mins drive to Lerwick or there's a really efficient bus into Lerwick (20mins). The host is very friendly and helpful. Sheltland is the friendliest place we've ever visited!

Nortaboot was an excellent calming place to finish off our Shetland Wool Week visit to the island, the scenic ocean view setting, the cozy & comfortable interior, and well appointed home met all of our needs beautifully. Once we figured out the busses (with great help from the host!) and thanks to the wonderful weather, the walk to the bus stop worked well for us (the time we had our luggage, we took a taxi!). Host Nicola was always helpful, encouraging, and hospitable, we felt very welcome at beautiful Nortaboot :)

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It is in such a beautiful location, we marvelled at the view from the window each day. Well equipped with everything you would need and more. The kids enjoyed the games. The welcome basket was a nice touch too. Lots of helpful information in the folders for places to visit. We will be sure to stay again! Just perfect, thank you!

We loved every second of being at The Taing. We were here five nights for Up Helly Aa and we felt it wasn’t long enough. It’s so peaceful and private, with all the amenities you need. We watched the January storms roll in by the fire and felt very cosy inside. We’d give it 10 stars if we could, we can’t wait to come back!
