The Stables

Situated in Rowland Flat on a three-acre property, the stone cottage was the original tack and feed rooms for Mr Rowland's stables. Separated by a courtyard the stables are now the home of the host. The cottage is comprised of a truly delightful bedroom with an antique double bed with stunning garden views; comfortable lounge room with TV/DVD, CD/radio, books and games; light and open equipped kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave, large electric frying pan and breakfast bar overlooking gardens through french windows (provisions for continental breakfast); the bathroom has both separate shower and claw foot slipper bath, toilet and vanity. R/c air-conditioning/heating and ceiling fans throughout. Access from the cottage to your own verandah with garden spilling over…serenity…the perfect spot for breakfast, coffee or bottle of local wine. Enjoy walks through our vineyard and paddocks and come across surprises such as our free-range chooks, wood fire pizza oven, an array of interesting seating and more. Incredible views across the valley floor to the imposing ranges or, bordering our property, the beguiling North Para River (in winter a roaring, cascading joy to behold or in summer the rock based riverbed allows access to caves, a geologists delight) and the birdlife is bountiful. Use of the swimming pool is available in the warmer months.

"Topp House" Retreat Barossa

Topp House is one of the original heritage interest houses along Bethany Road. Bethany ( Bethanien) established 1842 the oldest German settlement in the Barossa Valley. Halletts Valley Hideaway

Charmaine and Steve are the hosts at Halletts Valley Hideaway - a luxurious self-contained cottage tucked away amidst vineyards on the outskirts of Tanunda, in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawn.

The Writer's Studio, Barossa

Perfect for one or two people, The Writer's Studio is fully self-contained. It has a really comfortable and firm inflatable queen bed. Away from the main house, it opens out onto a small orchard. This is a quiet oasis you can enjoy in between exploring all the Barossa has to offer. It has dining and sitting areas as well as a reading nook in the loft. It has a sofa which can open out for a child if necessary. Or we can set up another inflatable bed in the loft, accessed by a loft ladder.

WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Miriam's Cottage self contained Bed and Breakfast

This lovely 1920's cottage is located in a quiet tree lined street in the heart of Tanunda. Miriam's is a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants such as Ferment Asian, 1918, Musque and cafe's. Also walking distance to Langmeil winery, Peter Lehmann, Z Wines etc Breakfast provisions are there for guests to either have a cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms or continental breakfast. Included is also a cheese plate and bottle of wine. Firepit only supplied when seasonal.

Barossa 1900 Vineyard Retreat

Barossa 1900 offers luxury vineyard accommodation for 10 people in the Barossa Valley, one hour’s drive from Adelaide. The private two-acre property is home to some of the Barossa’s oldest dry-grown Grenache grapes and is located a short walk to cellar doors, restaurants, breweries and retail shopping in Tanunda. As a sister property to Barossa 1900 Homestead, together these two properties sleep 18 people. We offer generous inclusions and private winemaker tastings by appointment.

‘Para River Cottage’ Built in 1920 overlooking the gum studded cliff face of the North Para River, this quaint and cosy cottage has been elegantly restored for your fulfilment. Embrace the quiet rural feel of native birdsong and scattered sheep across the way, all whilst being within a short stroll of the heart of Tanunda. It’s a great spot to discover the Barossa Valley and a lovely neighbourhood. I have so many great memories here, and I’m convinced that you will too.

The Rusty Olive is an intimate lovers retreat nestled in the heart of Angaston, one of the most beautiful towns in the Barossa Valley wine and food region. The cottage is located in a quiet street within walking distance to restaurants, wine and cheese bars, smokehouse, bakeries and Italian cooking school. Only an hour's drive north-east of Adelaide, The Rusty Olive is the perfect base for exploring the world famous Barossa Valley and ideal for a romantic getaway.

Crush Guest Room & Ensuite-Hewitson Barossa Valley

‘Crush’ Guest Room is part of the original homestead on the property over 160 years old that Dean and Lou Hewitson have lovingly restored. Stay on a working vineyard and winery in the epicentre of Barossa Valley and enjoy unbridled access to all the Valley has to offer. The suite opens to small courtyard garden and is a 15 metre walk to the deck overlooking our vineyard. Take in these unparalleled views while enjoying a glass of Hewitson Wines.

Rogasch Cottage

Situated in the heart of the Barossa Valley and nestled amidst 9 acres of vineyard, this fully renovated 1860's cottage is only 5 minutes walk to Tanunda's coffee shops and restaurants With magnificent vineyard and rural views you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst relaxing in the heated plunge pool or enjoying the comfort of an open fire place. Did we mention there is also access to your own private cellar ;-)

BnB on Barkey

This cute little flat is in walking distance to five wineries , local pub, local shop and restaurant. Disabled friendly with assistance bars either side of the toilet and a very large shower with assistance bar. Would suit Singles, Couples or Couple with one or two small children. Enjoy what the barossa has to offer within a short walk away! Please note this is strictly a Non Smoking accomodation.
