Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Welcome to the Beach! This stylish, well appointed executive 2bdrm/2 bath suite is in a superb location with public access to beach and restaurant/shops just across the street and down the stairs. Enjoy fish & chips, ice cream or a romantic dinner for 2 on one of the many ocean view patios. Watersports? Go kayaking, paddleboarding, kite surfing or just watch.Rent an ebike or stroll the 2.5km promenade. When the tide is out walk the expansive beach, collect shells and view the local wildlife.

Cottage with Private Beach in Birch Bay

Welcome to your peaceful getaway in Birch Bay. This cottage is across the street from the beach and offers beautiful views of the ocean. It offers a private beach footsteps away with a fire pit and gorgeous views of the water and sunsets. This house has two bedrooms and one bath. It is family friendly with a master bedroom that includes a queen bed, a second bedroom with bunk beds, and a pull out queen bed couch in the living room. Ground floor Beachwalker Villa waterfront condo on the beach at Semiahmoo in Blaine, WA. Approx. 1500 SqFt., 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room, kitchen & den, sleeps 6. Guests can enjoy beach access right from the patio. A short 5-minute walk to Semiahmoo Resort & Spa. An Arnold Palmer Golf course is a 5-minute drive. Newly renovated and spacious ocean view suite. (900 sq ft) Relax and watch the sunset over the ocean. Lots of natural light and large windows to highlight the ocean view. Just minutes away walking to Whiterock beach or a variety of shops and restaurants. Everything you could need is within a few minutes walk. Amazing location, perfect spot for a getaway or quarentine space. Large fully, equipped kitchen with new appliances. Come enjoy everything that Whiterock has to offer.

It is an experience - to share & remember." "Endless, unobstructed, panoramic views. Right at the pier." Please note that the driveway is 1 house up on a fairly steep hill. To walk down to the beach, some mobility challenged guests may have difficulty with the short hill.
