Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! Outdoor swimming pools very close by.

Our guesthouse has private access and located just outside central Reykjavík, in a very popular residential neighborhood, charming Vesturbærinn (west side). 20 minutes walk downtown. Attractions in Vesturbærinn include the local favorite swimming pool, Vesturbæjarlaugin, the local gourmet supermarket, Melabúðin. Local café and wine bar, Kaffi vest. The outdoors is also nice, with the southern shore of Reykjavík, Ægisíðan just down the street, where you can take beautiful walks along the coast.

Our lovely flat is ideally located close to the center. It is 10 minutes walking distance to The Pearl, about 20 minutes walking distance to Hallgrímskirkja church, and the beginning of Laugavegur shopping street and only about 15 minutes to walk to Kringlan shopping mall. There are several bus stops only minutes away and if you have a car it takes you minutes to drive to any tourist attraction in Reykjavík. We are also very lucky to have free street parking being this close to the center.
