Lovely house near Portstewart. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living space. Two full bathrooms so ideal for our party of three couples. Spacious terrace accessed from main living area with open views over golf course towards the coast. Works better with a car as about 1.5 mile walk in to Portstewart centre. Recommended!

Wow! What a wonderful welcome for the host Tim. He went above and beyond to make sure our visit to his place was warm and even bought provisions! The shower was amazing! We would highly recommend Tim’s place, parking was great for two VW Transporters, the dog loved the garden, the beds were clean and comfortable, I could go on and on, thanks Tim for a wonderful stay.

This is a beautiful property and perfect for our stay. It is set in New Town, which is a 15-20 minute walk from the station and Royal Mile. However, New town is home to all the well known shops and plenty of bars and restaurants (both local and chain). This meant you could easily walk to the busy and hectic Royal Mile with all its tourist attractions but you come back to a quiet, peaceful location without feeling isolated. The house itself was beautiful, old and full of character but completely brought up to modern standards. With heated flooring in the bathrooms, excellent shower/baths with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. We were three families, (two adults/two children, one adult, one adult/one teenager) and at no point were we on top of each other, we had plenty of space. I would have no hesitation on highly recommending this property to anyone looking to stay in Edinburgh.

What an incredible house in a beautiful neighborhood. The house is so well equipped and so clean. Lots of cereals, cookies, tea and coffee to make our stay even more perfect. The backyard was a bonus with the children. Great location too for public transportation, very easy to go anywhere. Ronnie was so responsive and so accommodating. Many thanks!

Place was great and beyond what I had expected honestly. The place was beyond immaculate and very cozy and peaceful. Thankfully we could walk everywhere and didn’t need a car. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place and host to anyone looking to stay in this area. We ended up spending more time in the house than we did out and about because it felt like home.

The house was so comfortable and a fantastic base to explore everything Mainland has to offer. We cooked lots of meals and found the kitchen great We were in a van with bike rack and the car park offered easy parking for us and kept the bikes out of easy sight. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for having us!

We had a fantastic weekend for mid term in Joanne’s place, the house was exactly as described and clear instructions on how get in and how to operate things, heating was on for us arriving which was great on a cold wet day, Joanne’s house is very cosy and had everything we needed she was very responsive though the air b n b chat, the house is a great location and a short walk to the promenade and close enough to walk to the beach, we look forward to booking again in the future.

Jo was a fantastic host, excellent communication and kind recommendations. Her home is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and was the perfect location to get into Glasgow centre. Can’t wait to come and stay again!

Place was just as described! Plenty of room for our small family of 3 (mom and two near grown teens!). Layout was great with one bedroom and half bath on ground floor and two more bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms upstairs. Easy to get in and out and clear instructions! We didn't have the chance to use any kitchen amenities, but showers had great water pressure and everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable! Area was so quiet it was like we were at home!

We had a lovely stay at Rose’s place. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. We didn’t want to leave. Rose was so accommodating with a request about the number of nights we stayed which we really appreciated. We will absolutely be returning with the house being round the corner from my family. Thank you Rose we love your house 💕

A great place to stay when visiting the North Berwick and Gullane area. Everything we needed and more. The house is ideal for golfers. Communication with Clare was easy and she’s really helpful. Will definitely stay here again

we would definitely recommend Hauxley retreat to everyone. Dave and Eleanor are great hosts and house was very nice and clean . Hot tub is a lovely addition for relaxing and unwinding. neighbourhood was lovely and house was set in a quiet location within walking distance to town centre. Morrisons supermarket on doorstep so very handy for the essentials. we will definitely be back soon . Definitely recommend Thanks Del and Debbie from Newcastle

Lovely property in quiet location outside Belfast with local attractions and services and easy reach to Belfast itself. Property was clean with all the amenities we required. Perfect family property. Owner responded to our questions promptly and was not intrusive. Play area close by, as well as coastal walk around the corner and bakery in the local town. Train service to Belfast was cheap and easy to catch. Will definitely consider booking again!
