Beach homes are fun, but take things a step further and immerse yourself with 270-degree views of the fjord at this historic boat house. A secret passageway leads to a speak-easy-style bedroom, and then down to a private hot tub where you can soak while watching the sun set over Olympic National Park. Big Beef Spit is a five-minute walk away. A neighboring guest house and caretaker’s cottage are also both available for rent. **Please note that the loft bedroom gets chilly during cold weather.

One of a kind cottage located on the Hood Canal with amazing mountain and water views! Come by car, boat, or seaplane!. A perfect cozy winter retreat, you are right on the low bank waterfront of a private lagoon, & the Hood Canal, surrounded by woods. Outdoor amenities abound, with a pickleball court, 2 paddleboards, rowboat, & firepits at the beach & lagoon. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

Located just 60 miles north of Olympia on the on the scenic Hood Canal, Weather-N-Heights resort was lovingly built and enjoyed by my parents for many years. Recently updated to it's original splendor, it sits right on the shore with spectacular views looking south down the canal. This property has it all. Under 10 miles north of Hama Hama, where you can pick up fresh local seafood and enjoy great cuisine. Close by to Lena Lake, Murhut Falls, Olympic National Park, Rocky Brook Falls, and many other attractions on the Hood Canal. We have three kayaks available (two single, one double) for guest use.
