Beautiful off the beaten path home next to the beach. House was beautiful with air conditioning that helped on the hot and humid days. Beach was just across the street which was nice though rip tides were possible so had to swim during certain times of the day to avoid them. Jefferson was always responsive with anything we needed and even offered to do laundry for a small fee which was nice and convenient.

Excelente! Mi familia y yo disfrutamos muchísimo la estadía. Tiene todo lo necesario, la ubicación es perfecta para descansar y desconectarse del ruido de la ciudad. La casa tiene buena ventilación y es fresca a pesar del calor de la zona. Definitivamente super recomendado.

Fer was very responsive and helped with any and all questions we had during our stay. The small private pool in the back was the perfect size for a relaxing swim and felt like it's own paradise surrounded by plants and we were lucky enough to have a huge family of monkeys above as we swam. The house itself was perfect for our family of 4 and had some games, wifi and Netflix. Great stay!

Juan was very helpful and responsive. The place was clean and had everything we needed, a really lovely place to stay.

It’s hard to sum up my feelings about this place. It was so special and wonderful. It’s hard to describe. I also hesitate about giving it so much praise because I worry that next time I want to book it it’ll be full! The place was perfect. It was right on a private beach at the end of a private road. The water was a perfect temperature. The sand was soft. The ground Keeper was so friendly and very helpful. He was very kind to my kids and we felt right at home! Also a huge added bonus were his dogs. My kids miss our dogs when we travel and they were thrilled to find dogs here waiting for us when we arrived. There were limitless activities for us to do. We could lay around on the beach or swim in the pool or do excursions that were close by. This part of Costa Rica is extremely beautiful! I would stay in a place like this over a resort any day.

Die Unterkunft war für uns einfach nur perfekt. Es war die beste Unterkunft die wir in ganz Costa Rica hatten! Die Anfahrt war für uns kein Problem. Der Google Maps von Lori führte uns direkt zur Unterkunft. Ja, man braucht einen Allradfahrzeug mit entsprechender Bodenfreiheit um den Weg zu meistern aber im Vergleich zu anderen Wegen die ich noch gefahren bin war dieser hier ein Kinderspiel. Wir liebten wir das offene Konzept des Hauses. Da die Schlafzimmer geschlossen und nur der Wohnbereich offen ist, hatten wir uns Nachts total sicher gefühlt und konnten tagsüber einfach die Natur und den wahnsinnig tollen Ausblick genießen. Das gesamte Konzept des Hauses ist sehr gut durchdacht. Selbst wenn es geregnet hat, störte uns das nicht im Geringsten. Lori war die perfekte Gastgeberin. Stets freundlich und bemüht, dass es uns gut geht und dabei total zurückhaltend und respektvoll. Einfach wundervoll. Vielen Dank liebe Lori! Wir werden diese Unterkunft definitiv weiter empfehlen.

Las casas estaban impecables. Muy limpias y bien equipadas. En lugar es precioso. Se ven pájaros y en la tarde a los largo se ven monitos. Lo único negativo que podría decir es que el lugar es un poco solo y que no hay como una malla que privatice la entrada a la casa, pero en realidad la recomiendo totalmente. Don Carlos y su familia, quienes ayudan en la casa son muy amables también

We loved staying here! I’ve been to a lot of Air B@Bs and this was my favorite. The house is updated and has air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The view is amazing. This place is located in between uvita and Quepose so it was about a 35 minute drive to both. Taryn was an excellent host who was friendly and helpful.

This place was cozy and relaxing. A nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city while still being close. it felt like a private resort and the pool was well maintained. welved all the nature and plants around the Casita.

Absolutely beautiful! The view of the ocean is breathtaking it is such a great place to wake up overlooking the water. We had the treat of watching thunderstorms with brilliant lighting shows during the evening! Our hosts are extremely responsive kind and welcoming. An absolute must, pure vita!

Sehr schönes, geräumiges Haus, toller und sehr gepflegter Pool, eigene Waschmaschine und Tumbler, grosser gedeckter Parkplatz, grosses Wohnzimmer, zwei grosse Badezimmer. Wir haben jeden Tag viele rote Aras direkt auf dem Baum vor dem Sitzplatz beobachten können. Es hat alles bestens gepasst.

El apartamento ubicado en el 5 piso tiene una vista al océano magnífica. El mismo tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días de descanso. Entre lo posible volveremos y lo recomiendo a otros usuarios.

We loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed for longer. The setting is ideal, the mesh screen walls make you feel like you’re camping out in the jungle but with all the creature comforts of being ‘at home’. Wouter is a great host, friendly, kind & helpful & even gave us a lift down to the beach. If you haven’t got a car it’s still doable, Uber works here and Wouter also gave us taxi nos. So don’t worry if you’ve not got wheels, this is still a perfect option!

This jungle paradise is special. You’re truly nestled within nature and you’ll never forget the visits from the monkeys. The property overall is beautiful with a view of the jungle/ocean in the distance and it’s only a couple of minutes to get down to the main road. I’d highly recommend this place for a one of a kind stay in Uvita!

Before I dive into how wonderful this home is, here’s a tip: rent a 4x4 vehicle for your stay. The house is located up a mountain, and Ubers are extremely expensive—$30–$35 just to get to the base of the mountain, and up to $80 one way to visit the nearby waterfalls. Planning ahead will save you a lot of money and give you more freedom to explore. Now, about the house—it’s absolutely stunning. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, it truly felt like a luxury retreat. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nothing was overlooked. The bedrooms are cozy and serene, with super soft sheets and very comfortable beds—we all slept soundly every night. The bathrooms are large, featuring double sinks, walk-in closets, and showers designed to feel like you’re bathing outdoors—with views even from the shower! If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean, & peaceful home with jaw-dropping views, your search is over!

La casa es exactamente igual a las fotografías. Cuenta con todos los servicios de la descripción. Desde antes de llegar la respuesta del anfitrión y coanfitrión fue bastante rápida, nos ayudaron con todas las consultas y solicitudes realizadas. Al llegar tuvimos una sorpresa muy bonita de una botella de vino con un chocolate. Llevé a mi perrita ya que la casa está completamente cerrada por lo cual es perfecta para llevar mascotas. La iluminación de la piscina y terraza es muy bonita y hace un ambiente muy agradable.

Si vous cherchez un logement dans un endroit calme et isolé c’est l’endroit parfait au son des vagues et vue sur la mer sur une petite route de terre avec une magnifique piscine et une cours arrière vraiment chouette. Les chambres étaient très confortables et Jenny la manager de la maison est vraiment très gentille. Susan est très réactive au messages et flexible, nous avons vraiment eu une belle fin de séjour au CR :) Le resto Mar y sol recommandé par Susan était succulent. Attention les vagues 🌊 sont très fortes, donc plus difficile à se baigner avec les enfants. Mais Plage exceptionnelle pour prendre de longues marches, comme si on était seul au monde ! Le BBQ est très vieux et usé et donc nous ne l’avons pas utilisé. L’appartement était très confortable nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants. Des heures de plaisir dans la piscine :) Épicerie à environ 20 minutes de l’appartement. Situé à 1h de Manuel Antonio :) donc se fait très bien pour la visite d’une journée !

Love the place. The host helped arrange a car rental which you must have to get to the place. We used an uber a couple of times - although the uber couldn’t get all the way to the place.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. The house is stunning — even more beautiful than the photos. Every corner felt carefully designed, blending comfort, style, and nature in perfect harmony. We woke up to the sound of birds and fell asleep under a sky full of stars. The views were breathtaking, the amenities were thoughtful, and the energy of the space was pure peace. The location is ideal — close to Uvita, Dominical, Bahía Ballena, and Ojochal — with hidden beaches, waterfalls, and delicious restaurants just minutes away. Whether we were relaxing in the hammock, cooking dinner with a view, or exploring the area, this home was the perfect sanctuary to return to each day. The hosts were warm, responsive, and made us feel right at home. We are leaving with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish forever. Highly, highly recommended — this place is magic. We’ll be back!

Would rent here again without hesitation! The location is great. We loved being close to town and things to do but still having all the jungle vibes! We saw lots of monkeys right in the back yard! Alex and Glen were both very friendly. We also did the mangrove Kayak tour with Alex & Goldie (his pup)! Would highly recommend that tour! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!
