A great place to stay just a short drive from Sunday River! There's a lot of space with privacy for multiple groups staying together. Large mudroom for snow/ski gear was very helpful to keep all of our things separate from our living space. The hot tub was also a great treat to have. Courtney was a very gracious host and helped me out with everything I needed. Highly recommend!

This was an excellent stay! The kids had an absolute blast with the game room and were already asking when we could go back before we got to the bottom of the road. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone staying in the area, especially if traveling with kids. The host was also incredibly proactive and offered lots of helpful information for our stay.

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

A wonderful family trip and a real getaway. The home was perfect for our needs, and having Bethel just 5 minutes away driving was SO convenient. The neighborhood was VERY quiet...a lovely time away from the city.

We’ve had the pleasure to rent the Hygge Hut multiple times as a relaxing getaway from our busy schedules. It never disappoints! The stay has everything you need to feel comfortable and right at home. Well stocked kitchen for you to cook a delicious breakfast or dinner, clean comfy living room (no tv which we love), beautiful views of the mountains and a hot tub for you to relax in! The hosts have always been extremely welcoming and communicative. We are very thankful for our time away and would highly recommend this stay to anyone who needs a reset!

Nice location. Especially nice having a restaurant across the quiet street. Plenty of room. Comfortable. Really liked the recommendations for nearby homemade doughnuts. We visited with a toddler, the provided high chair and pack n play were nice touches. We do have some recommendations to improve the toddler friendly-ness. The tub didn’t work. Only the shower part of the main shower/tub combo was usable. We also had to find something to block off the stairs. Including toddler gates to optionally use would be nice.

Jamie’s cabin was the perfect peaceful mini getaway! Situated almost half way between SugarLoaf and Sunday River- it was the perfect retreat to experience both resorts and recharge at night! We arrived to a handwritten welcome card and presents for the puppies- how sweet is that?! The beds were comfy, the shower was HOT and the washer and dryer made it so easy to vacation without having chores to come home to! Would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful place, very cozy and private! The pups had a great time. Our host was very welcoming and even left a dog bed and water bowl out for them :)

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

We have rented this adorable log cabin many times and look forward to our next visit! The host is very responsive and friendly and we can not recommend this lovely stay enough.

This was our family's 4th stay at Ashley and Josh's cabin. It is the perfect location for a quick get away, with easy access to trails and areas to explore, and a lovely view from the porch and yard. We're grateful for the opportunity to rest and recharge. It feels like coming home every time we walk through the door.

We had such a great time. The home was warm and inviting, extremely clean and well cared for. The neighborhood was quiet, yet not too far from town. Jason reached out to us to make sure we got settled in. Everything was perfect.

My stay at Dominic’s cabin was one of the best. It felt very secluded and the views were amazing with a great sunset. The house was incredibly clean and has everything you need for a great stay!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Beautiful in the fall, a great getaway in the woods to be unplugged for a bit. The cabin was even nicer than I expected and if you enjoy hiking and/or disc golf this is the perfect place! There are other cabins/tree houses on the property but this one was set back nicely so it still felt private. We loved our stay and hope to be back and potentially check out some of the other cabins as well! Thank you!

Would highly recommend booking this cabin! My friends and I stayed here for a Saddleback ski weekend and this cabin felt like home. Fully stocked kitchen and comfortable bed it felt very homely. My friends and I were comfortable the whole stay. Steve was very proactive and helpful before and during our stay. Fantastic host! Would love to book this again in the future!

Chris’s place was great for our weekend stay. Close to Bethel and Black Mountain. Perfect for two people. Clean, comfortable bed, and very peaceful.

Such a comfortable, picturesque, and well-stocked space with friendly hosts who were completely respectful of our privacy while also being very responsive.
