Lovely space. The directions were a little more detailed than needed to be, only confusion were the extra details. Awesome house, best suited for adults—the backyard has a cliff and no fence so it’s pretty dangerous.

We will definitely be back to Debbie's place! The view was amazing, the cabin was homey and had everything you would need to enjoy the space! The gaming area below was awesome for unwinding on chillier evenings. The deck with the porch swing was perfect for peaceful morning coffee, even with the nearby rooster lol im familiar with the area but this was definitely a hidden gem!

Curtis was a fantastic host. We spent the weekend here for my baby sister’s bachelorette weekend. It was perfect for the peaceful getaway we were wanting for the bridal party. Everything we needed was available. Very clean. Decorated so cute. The beds were super comfy. Plenty of seating for all of us. The ping pong table was a great addition to our fun. Thank you Curtis for allowing us to make the best memories at your place!!

We stayed here for a weekend while visiting with family. The cottage is adorable! We loved everything about it, inside and out. We loved being able to look out our window and see horses feeding, cows grazing, and the most beautiful birds flying by. We would definitely return here!

Derek was very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The cottage felt like a home away from home. It was welcoming, clean, and the perfect cozy getaway. We look forward to returning.

This is a cute and extremely clean cottage. The beds were comfortable and the newly renovated shower was superb! This is definitely a nice place to stay if coming to Portsmouth to visit Shawnee State University or just for a weekend visit!

We spent spring break at the fern with 7 people, ranging in age from 8 to 40. There was plenty of space in the house for all of us. It was clean and well stocked with things that our stay convenient. The fire pit was a peaceful evening spot after busy days. The kids loved that the house was right on the forest with plenty of exploring available. We were never more than 10-20 minutes from the gorge activities we were doing. There’s a grocery store and a few restaurants nearby. All in all, this was the perfect spot for our long weekend and first trip to Kentucky.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the farm! We relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the place and had fun petting the alpacas! We even purchased some beautiful alpaca fiber. Lisa always responded to us within a very short time. She gave us privacy when we needed it but with a wonderful person to visit with and make friends with, I would highly recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is very cozy and has all the basics to make your trip more relaxing. The grill didn't have any propane, however this was likely due to us being there during spring. We were able to use the fire pit and cook over that with the build in grill tray. Sharon was so sweet and extremely helpful. She helped us get the wifi fixed right away and went above and beyond as a host. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the horses graze and various species of birds sing in the morning. We went the the 33rd annual Mountain Mushroom festival in Irvine, KY, which was about 45 min away. The route to get there was scenic and all country roads. There is a Frostyette ice cream stand only 10 min away (make a left out of Durham School Rd and follow road till you see the sign). The food here is really good and reasonably priced.
