This unique and stylish loft is inside a gated community and only a 10-minute drive from the iconic Antigua Guatemala. It has an open plan that gives it plenty of light and space. When entering, you’ll find the living room with a dedicated work space. In the top level, you can enjoy the dining room, the kitchen, and a lovely terrace with a view of the pool. The bottom level has a spacious bedroom with a complete bathroom. Outside, you can enjoy a walk, a swim, and relax in the gardens.

The sabbatical house

Set in a coffee lot by a unique wetland area, this home is about twenty minutes away from Antigua. Still, it feels a world away. You'll spend peaceful days in the lush gardens and walk to the Mayan towns of San Antonio and Santa Catarina Barahona. Should you like, you can also get to know the kids who visit the "Caldo de Piedra" library next door. (Proceeds go to support it.) Pickup and drop-off is in Antigua is provided free of charge (weekdays, up to 6 pm). Nature-, book-friendly.
