This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

The house, the lake, the views, the staff…all absolutely incredible! The house is ideally located within 5-10 mins walking or quick tuk tuk to San Marcos, and equipped with everything you need - pool, hottub, kayaks, loads of cooking supplies, more than enough towels etc. The rooms were huge, beds comfy and the caretakers available to help with anything and everything. The hosts were super responsive and the chef for hire cooked amazing meals. San Marcos has the cleanest water for swimming, and the national park with cliffs to jump or swim from is just a short walk or kayak away. The entire stay, just like the lake, was magical for our family of 5 (2 adults, 9 yo, two 7 yos) and not one we will ever forget!

La casa es hermosa, tiene una vista espectacular al lago y cuenta con todo lo necesario para tu estancia. Daniel es un excelente host; súper amable, dispuesto y con una excelente atención. Nos dio indicaciones para ubicarnos en los pueblos de alrededor y nos acompañó hasta la casa para que nuestra llegada fuera sencilla; además nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones para conocer los pueblos de Atitlán. Sin duda regresaremos.

Pasamos una semana brutal en esta casa. El diseño es espectacular, todo en la propiedad está muy bien pensado y con un gusto genial. Cada detalle hacen de la estadía algo sabroso y placentero, quedamos fascinados con mi esposo. El espacio es súper funcional, lindo y privado. La casa es tan práctica, la vegetación hermosa y toda la decoración hermosa. La cama también garantiza un buen descanso. Es fácil llegar desde la ciudad y Julio nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos durante nuestra estadía, sin importar la hora. Es importante tomar en cuenta que la casa no tiene wi-fi y la señal es poca, pero es la excusa perfecta para desconectarse de verdad. ¡Gracias Victoria! Por abrir las puertas de este lugar hermoso y en especial por acoplarte a nuestras necesidades. Seguro volvemos.

Casita Piegatto was a wonderful place to relax and take in nature and the beautiful surroundings. Alvaro, the house manager is absolutely wonderful and truly made our experience fantastic! He helped arrange anything we needed and was always available. It would be tough to be there without him because it is a very remote location and there is not much near by. I have a few notes, did not bother us but will be helpful to know ahead of time… -2 bedrooms not 4 bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms that have walls & doors that close. The other two are open areas that everyone walks by to get to the bedrooms or upstairs. There are sliding screens but the rooms are not private and do not have doors that shut. -200 very steep steps to the property. Must be able bodied to stay here. -A/C does not work in all rooms. doors/windows do not have screens. Many bugs and rain is unpredictable so leaving the windows open at night might not be the best idea. Highly recommend this property! It was great!

At first it was a little difficult to find the place, but this was because we did not follow the instructions sent by Whats App where we were told that we should contact Adolfo. After we did it, everything was relatively easy and the house seemed like an excellent option to share with the family. Great views, peacefully and a good relaxing place. Adolfo was a great guy, he helped us with everything we needed. Al principio fue un poquito dificil encontrar el lugar, pero esto debido a que no seguimos las instrucciones que fueron enviadas por whats app donde se nos indicaba que debiamos comunicarnos con Adolfo, despues que lo hicimos todo fue relativamente facil y la casa nos parecio una excelente opcion para compartir en familia. Muy bonitas vistas, un lugar lleno de paz bueno para relajarse. Adolfo fue un buen muchacho que nos ayudo en todo lo que necesitamos.

A well-equipped, clean apartment just one block from the main square and a 5-10 minute walk to the main beach. Communication with the host was easy the entire time. San Lucas doesn't have much tourism, but that's what makes the experience more valuable. My family stayed for a week and enjoyed the rooftop with amazing volcano views.

Desde el momento en que llegamos, el lugar nos hizo sentir como en casa. Nos sentimos tan cómodos que decidimos extender nuestra estadía un día más para seguir disfrutando de las amenidades del lugar y la vista de Panajachel. Silvia siempre estuvo pendiente de que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos, lo que hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera aún más agradable. Sin duda, esperamos regresar pronto para seguir disfrutando de este rincón tan especial.

I absolutely loved my stay at Maya Moon. Owners & staff are friendly, charming and super helpful. Property is stunning and the view from the room is incredible. I am a picky eater hence why I wanted a place with a kitchen but ended up eating mostly at the restaurant which was affordable, healthy and delicious. Internet speed in both the restaurant and apartment was fast enough for me to work remotely from (zoom calls, downloading/uploading several short videos, etc.) So many amazing recommendations of things to do, or you could never leave the property and just relax in the hammocks. If you are up for adventure, I highly recommend a sunrise paddle (reserve the boards the night before and staff will leave them out for you), the recommended birdwatching tour, and all of the recommended tours with Luis (Sunrise Rostro Maya & San Juan being my favorites).

Thank you Jenny and Clemens for a wonderful stay! The photos don’t do this place justice—it’s even more stunning in person! The directions were perfectly clear, but I highly recommend using the private transport they offer—it makes the journey much smoother. Whether you arrive via the public or private dock, keep in mind there are steep stairs. Clemens was kind enough to arrange help with our suitcases, which was greatly appreciated! Also, don’t stay out too late—the path is very dark at night, and if you’re arriving in the evening, definitely bring groceries. And to my surprise, Casa del Mundo was just next door, which was super convenient. As beautiful as the property is, the best part was how responsive the hosts were. When my friend and I got a little lost, Clemens immediately called to make sure we were okay. It made us feel really cared for. Highly recommend this stay!

We enjoyed the location and accuracy of the house. Host was very helpful. For the price it was great. It could use a fan, really stuffy inside at night. The pillows were really big or paper thin. We just didn’t sleep well here but it wasn’t a thing really to fix it. Quiet place with a shared driveway inside gate. Would return.

Un lugar realmente privilegiado, con vistas maravillosas. Miguel, el anfitrión, es súper atento y siempre está pendiente de que todo esté perfecto. Los encargados también son muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar en lo que necesites. He pasado unos días increíbles en este espacio privado, tranquilo y lleno de paz. ¡Definitivamente un lugar al que volvería!

I stayed here on glorious week and could have stayed another. The place was exactly as described and the rooftop deck/kitchen was an amazing place to work and chill. It was a 50 yard walk to the lake and only a 5-10 walk to the main tourist area. It’s also about as peaceful as San Pedro gets. Town has a party vibe so you will still hear music at night and the occasional dog barking but nothing that even cheap earplugs can’t handle.

El lugar tiene muy buena ubicación en la Calle Santader, un lugar suficiente para descansar y tener todo accesible.

Alejandro's place was great! We loved the 360 view and the outdoor shower. It was great seeing the sunrise from the balcony every morning! Host is very responsive and helpful as well. Something to note - the neighborhood has a lot of roosters crowing all night, and because the metal roof is not completely closed, it might be hard for some people to get a good night's sleep. By no means is this the place's fault though, but just to be aware if you're a light sleeper! Everything else was awesome, very clean and good amenities! Drinking water in the kitchen, warm showers, good working faucet, a desk to work at, a bench on the balcony! Power outlets were also abundant and there's a good working ceiling fan:) Thanks, Alejandro!

En toppenvistelse! Vi var tvungna att byta boende sent på kvällen, Andrea svarade direkt och personalen tog emot oss vid grinden och hjälpte oss med väskor nerför trapporna. Sängen var enorm och den skönaste vi någonsin sovit i. Otroligt vacker utsikt, bara några meter från sjön, att vakna till. Rent och fräscht och hade allt man behövde i kök och på badrum, stor och härlig dusch. Extra tack för att Andrea alltid svarade mycket snabbt och hon och personalen var mycket omtänksamma och hjälpsamma. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Very nice stay about 10 minute walk from the main hub of San Marcos. Secluded and quiet, right on the water. Had some amazing sunrises. Being so close to the water, there will be bugs, but that was expected and manageable with turning lights off/closing doors at night. Bed was very comfortable.

Sarah was such an amazing host because she was super helpful with transportation arrangements, activity recommendations and responsive to messages. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and the location was great because there were plenty of restaurant options, it felt safe and is just a short walk away from the lake-side.

Excelente lugar, muy limpio y accesible, solo tomar en cuenta que no incluye parqueo, pero hay parqueos cerca, nos encantó el lugar, sin duda volveríamos!

gran fin de Semana. De ensueño. Reviví mi luna de miel en este gran Airbnb. Solo por recomendación: San Marcos(El pueblo más cercano) es un pueblo con un marcado perfil de turistas más que todos mochileros, si buscas entretenimiento en la noche en familia muy poco hallarás. pero por lo demas, concerniente al Airbnb simplemente espectacular

El hospedaje tiene una ubicación muy buenas, es amplio, tiene las amenidades necesarias. Sarah estuvo muy atenta y fue muy rápida en dar respuesta y colaboración en todo momento.
