Literally boarding 10s of thousands of acres of the Sante Fe National Forest behind a private gate. A must stop if you are driving thru Pecos either on the Sante Fe trail or Historic Route 66. Santa Fe is 25 minutes away with nearby access to many US Forest areas, the Pecos National Monument, the Village of Pecos, and the Pecos River. The water is chemical free! The large acreage here is also used for tent camping in the summer months near the little lake and RV Sites are scattered with one being beside this house.

Welcome to Aug’s Cabin! Enjoy the simplicity of a homey cabin with modern finishes and rustic charm just outside Las Vegas, NM and an hour from Santa Fe. Owner renovated two bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, on a couple acres tucked beautifully behind pine trees for privacy. A quick drive to Las Vegas can lead you to the famous Plaza Hotel or the newly renovated Castaneda Hotel. Find yourself downtown to indulge in New Mexican food and grab a drink at one of many unique bars in town.

The Rawlins Apt. 3

Sit back and relax in this calm, stylish space. once home to the Harvey Girls, who at the time, rented a space by a single room. The space has been renovated from 15 single rooms into 5 apartments. Each apartment curated differently to provide a modern living space. The apartment has its own kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Kitchen is fully outfitted for cooking and dinning. The living area features a TV and sofa that converts into a bed.

Chameleon, Rustic Cabin, Unit 1 with private deck

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.

(No pets) Choose silence, solitude in our 12'x14' AIR CONDITIONED furnished hut, with a picture window view of Mesa; bed, desk, rocking chair, kitchenette. (1 guest only) and Wi-Fi. Space dedicated for meditation, prayer, writing. Private shower 90 steps away, inside main house. Hiking trail minutes away. Vaccination recommended. (Note: our second retreat space, inside main house, has private bath, kitchen use, library and LR.)
