Nos quedamos en la casa proxima a la piscina, el alojamiento cumplio con todas nuestras expectativas, es muy espacioso, la cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder organizar nuestras comidas y las vistas son espectaculares. Las habitaciones tienen buen tamaño e iluminación. Además tuvimos la suerte de poder participar de un evento/encuentro que John había organizado y que incluía una cena muy completa en un ambiente súper familiar, recomiendo preguntar a John sobre sus eventos e intentar coordinar la estadía con uno de ellos para vivir esa experiencia también. Gracias por todo John, con seguridad volveremos!

¡Nos encantó Casa Alegre! La vista de San Juan del Sur es espectacular y la casa súper cómoda. Rudy fue muy atento desde el inicio, y Alex siempre dispuesto a ayudar, incluso con las compras para que solo nos enfocáramos en disfrutar. Pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue contar con Doña Carmen y Doña Esther: nos consintieron con toda la deliciosa gastronomía nicaragüense qué les solicitamos, mantuvieron todo impecable y estuvieron siempre pendientes de nuestros gustos. Recomendamos contratarlas sin pensarlo, su calidez y atención hacen que la experiencia sea inolvidable. ¡Mil gracias Rudy, Alex, Carmen y Esther por hacer de nuestra estadía algo tan especial!

We stayed at CasAnika for three weeks and had an amazing time! The house is spacious, clean, and cozy, with a beautiful terrace and a well-equipped kitchen. The Wi-Fi was great for remote work, and we loved the pool area and the friendly dogs and cats. Tony was a fantastic host, always helpful and full of great tips. The location is quiet, private and ideal, within walking distance to Maderas and Marsella beaches. We rented a scooter for trips to town but rarely needed to go as the area was so peaceful. Highly recommend!

La casa de David tiene una ubicación perfecta frente a la playa, eso la hace única. Todos los días iba un personal hacer el aseo de todas las áreas incluyendo la piscina. La volvería a rentar definitivamente.

Great unit to stay. If you need to check out before 8:00 AM make sure you arrange it with the staff. I did not know this and it was a bit of a hassle to check out and had to leave 45 minutes later then I wanted to leave.

The house is amazing, you have access to the beach right in front of you, only recommendation for anybody is to bring your own food from a local supermarket as there is an hour drive off road(4x4 recommended) after reaching san juan, the place is very private, you have the beach for yourself, the house is very clean, enough rooms, and spacious. Local housekeeper was very useful as he can go buy you items at extra cost while you enjoy your time, final score 10/10.

We had a very nice stay at Casa Pocahontas and felt right at home. The house is decorated with a lot of love and is located about 10-15 minutes walk from Playa Maderas. We spent a lot of time in the open living area with the huge terrace. A great place to relax, read a book or watch the wildlife in the jungle. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were well equipped. There was even a yoga mat and blackrolls. If we had any questions, Sebastian was always available and due to the keybox the check in/out was very flexible and uncomplicated. We can only recommend the Casa and would definitely come back again.

We had a great stay in this beautiful home! The view from the back of the house is captivating. The pictures do not do it justice. Definitely more than what we imagined and really happy we chose this place to stay while in SJDS. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back. Just a few minutes drive to the beach, local restaurants and bars.

This place was perfect. Great location, private and sufficient amenities. Onsite staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Walking distance from town. I would highly recommend!

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Scott’s place had the most amazing view, and we got to watch the most beautiful sunsets every single night! Claudia was our contact person for the property and she was so responsive, she even gave us her opinion on which beach to visit and we had the best day enjoying Playa Maderas. The security at the gates were an added bonus!

Everything about the place was perfect from my perspective – the location, the amenities, and especially Franco the caretaker. He was just fantastic and so accommodating. I really appreciated him letting me into the house early - I didn’t even ask and wasn’t expecting it and was just planning to spend the day on the beach. He was just a joy to work with. The beach, as others have noted, is barely 2 minute’s walk from the house and is pretty and uncrowded yet so convenient to San Juan del Sur. The restaurants are very good and the service is great and very friendly (a little pricey by Nica standards but still reasonable). I have been around Nicaragua plenty and disagree with the recent review suggesting that the property is not a good value. The impeccable pool alone justifies the price, the location is excellent, and the house is spacious, clean, comfortable and with well functioning AC. And, again, there’s Franco! The house may not be luxurious, but it did not disappoint.

It was an Amazing trip once again. I go to Nicaragua every year and this is my favorite place to stay every single time, I can only recommend it. Excellent host, clean and cozy House, TV, air conditioning, equipped kitchen. All the necessities provided for a good getaway at a beautiful beach. 10/10 as always

We had a lovely month staying here! It was perfect for us as we had friends with young kids who came for half our time and they loved it! The pool and outdoor seating area are where we spent most of our time when at home and it always felt like we were in a lush green jungle with no bugs! The town of SJDS is easily walked in 10-15 minutes and we never felt unsafe even after dark. If you are like us and looking for a good spot to work abroad, the home was equipped with fiber internet during our stay which had consistent speeds of 200+ both up and down. The caretakers are ever present which I can u sets tabs may be an issue for some people, but we enjoyed their company and how thorough they were at taking care of the home!

I had the BEST 6 weeks at Victoria’s home. She is such a welcoming hostess and her home is perfect if you love nature, the beach, beautiful earthy vibes, peace and quiet. Everything was so clean and the property was spectacular. Short walk to the beach, cute cafe and not far from one of the best restaurants in the area. Victoria was always so helpful and responded quick. Her housekeeper and property managers were so helpful and made me feel super safe. 10/10 recommend!!!

This was my family 2nd time to Nicaragua and we have also traveled internationally quite a bit, it was an 8, 9, 14, 17, 23 and two Parents, we never felt cramped had plenty of indoor and out space, the onsite staff is more then you could ever ask from from needing help with the simplest thing to having Marina make you breakfast or dinner in that case, Which you will not regret, the house is very private no one bothers you & one of the best parts is the puppy Petey who wants nothing but love and snuggles from whoever stays there.. Definitely plan on staying again.
