Ideal place for those who want to combine outdoor activities with a visit to the architectural heritage of Horta city. Due to the proximity to the Maritime Terminal (400 meters), they are perfect to be the “base” in Faial to visit Pico and São Jorge. Very easy to park nearby. Esta é uma casa independente com 2 quartos (1 cama de casal, 2 de solteiro), 2 salas de estar, 1 cozinha, sala de jantar e 1 banheiro. A cozinha está totalmente equipada todos os utensílios possíveis para um chef. A Vivenda Chã está idealmente localizada, permitindo fácil acesso para explorar as maravilhas da Ilha do Faial. Do mundialmente famoso Vulcão dos Capelinhos, aos belos trilhos da Levada e da Caldeira ou às encantadoras e pitorescas aldeias com comércio e restaurantes locais.

Preta na pedra da sua construção, branca na sua essência. Antiga propriedade da Sra Angelina, Branca de alcunha. Lar de uma família, onde cresceram homens e mulheres honestos e trabalhadores. Das suas pedras emanam energia de gentes trabalhadora e de espírito de sacrifício. Por necessidade, aquando a erupção do vulcão dos Capelinhos, foram à procura de uma nova vida para os EUA. Charming Beach House along the Ocean

Located minutes from downtown Madalena, “Casa da Barca” is a charming space granting guests picturesque views of the ocean and island of Faial from one side, and iconic Pico Mountain on the other. Walk only a few steps out the door and take a dip into natural pools or enjoy a refreshment at Pico’s award winning Cella Bar. Your host will welcome you with some cheese and wine, giving you a taste of the Acores and getting your palate ready for delicious island food.

It is also about 3 minutes from the historic city center, where you can find local shops, restaurants and the Municipal Market.

This tradicional stone house rightly bears the name "Casa Vista Fantástica". Look forward to a fantastic, unobstructed view of the wide Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of Pico with Portugal's highest mountain "Montanha do Pico", 2,351m. The rooms go up to the roof and convey a great feeling of space. The jewel of the house is the large conservatory, wich is glazed on 3 sides inluding the roof, and which might be better be called a summer garden.

Laurus azorica - Quinta do Torcaz

Quinta do Torcaz is a 5 apartments family project especially meant for families, couples or groups of friends who want to enjoy an authentic Azorean experience. At Quinta do Torcaz we preserve a quiet and bucolic environment with our beautiful garden and orchard. We also organize tours to show you the charming beauty of Faial Island. The minimum age for our guests is 12 years old, documents such as a passport will be requested to confirm age.

Solar-powered wine house located in the Landscape of Pico Island Vineyard Culture - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a couple of minutes driving from Madalena village, this traditional and remodeled wine house has its own vineyard on the backyard. A cozy space for two with a bedroom, kitchenette open to living room and a bathroom. The wine house is overlooking the ocean, Faial island and Pico mountain.
