The perfect getaway! The resort is tucked away and feels so quiet and private, but less than an hour from the north shore. The view of the lake through the big windows was perfect. We definitely want to come back to enjoy some of the summer amenities!

This place is beautiful, quiet, calm, peaceful, we only stayed 1 night but it was so worth it. Very friendly Host’s, easy set up, lovely room, a with lots to do on the property. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend this place.

When looking for a place to stay in this area, THIS IS IT! This family owned resort is the perfect mix of resort activities (boating, fishing, kayaking, nearby bike trails) with plenty of opportunities for peace and solace (private porches and cabins are spread out). We did not want to leave and we WILL be back! Thank you Charlie and family for your gracious hospitality.

Stayed for my bachelor party and it was a great place!! Enough beds for everyone. Nice little patio outside with a grill too. Would absolutely stay there again!!!

Ann and Tom were extremely accommodating. We didn’t have a car and Tom came 8 miles to pick us up from Cornell. They were very helpful and kind. The place was very clean. The pool and hot tub super clean and peaceful

Great place to stay with our pup! There was a little courtyard we could access right from our room to let her outside, and the staff was super friendly!

This was a perfect place to stay for a quick night away after a Timberwolves game. We got two connecting rooms which was perfect for the kids in one and the adults in the other. Everything was clean and the boys enjoyed the pool. Brady the attendant was absolutely fabulous!! Would definitely recommend. Just a heads up, bring your own ping pong paddles and a ball if you want to play that in the pool room!

Cute place! So clean and modern and comfortable. We came in the fall but can’t wait to go back in the summer for more lake time.

The Anderson House was built in 1856, two years before Mn became a state. It is a well preserved hotel and well worth the stay. It has a great breakfast on Sat and Sunday.

Very cute motel! Super clean, very well thought out, and organized to the T. Everything you need. My one wish was that there was an actual restaurant on property. That was a bit of a bummer, but Nic suggested a great Mexican restaurant across the street which was super yummy with fresh hot tortilla chips and salsa when you arrive! Nice heated bathroom floors and shower, although the water was luke warm in the morning which was unfortunate. I’m guessing the water heater was small or shared by other units. But I’d definitely stay there again. Very cozy and full of Hygge!
