Plenty of restaurants , shops , cafes , also good beach at the castle end of the promanade , suggest try the Botovarus Cheringitto beach bar and restaurant.
For the night time go down fish ally, ask anyone who knows Fuengirola and they will direct you, it is near the harbour, every restaurant type , food , entertainment and price range.

For that extra special night , or afternoon lunch. The oceano is a classy place, great food and good entertainment , with fantastic viwes over the med, a bit more expensive, but for that special event, worth doing.....suggest you book in advance though.

Marbella is about a 30min drive from the apartment, it has it all , classy shops , great tapas bars , good places to eat....a great promanade with great cafes all along the walk.....once there ensure you find orange square , any local will direct you, what a lovely area of Marbella....again a must see place.

Gin Bar.... Fuengirola Square where the main church is in Fuengirola.
Also try Moochers bar in fish ally, again not too far from the main square.

Sightseeing
Granada is a great city, the shops , bars & restaurants, but mainly for the jaw dropping Alhambra....a must see......about a 2 hour drive from the apartment, but if you can have an overnight stay then well worth it.

Mijas...is a must see place...about a 30min drive from the apartment, some great intamate restaurants, cafes and bars, and the views from the town walls are fantastic, great to visit in the day or night time....but a must see placeon your agenda.

Ensure you go to Ronda....we do when at the apartment, alway drive there and back in the day, get up early one day and go the Ronda.
Shopping
Malaga has it all for shoppers.... a graet day out, cafes , restaurants , get down to the harbour....its a great day out, but have some good walking shoes on.... you can get a train into Malaga from Fuengirola.

Marbella is a classy shopping town, some great unique shops, all done in that very Spanish way..... There is a big shopping mall near to Marbella, it is call La Canada ....if you keep on the A7 road to Marbella, once on the outskirts of Marbella you should pick up the signs for the La Canada mall.
