Hardly a point coming to Oslo if you don't stop by here! I'd recommend it for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and the party scene around here is also well worth visiting/seeing. Streetfood restaurant Hitchhiker is my personal favourite inside the Mathallen (the food hall).

Perhaps my favourite restaurant in Oslo. They serve street food from all over the world, and have very friendly staff. Go there on a date, and head out to one of the bars in Mathallen when the close (one am I believe).

This café right next to my place is a great place to start your day with some coffee and breakfast. They have free wifi and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended. It is the café on my picture # 9 in my listing. Also a good place to people watch.

Oslo (all of Norway actually) is famous for great coffee and this place is no exeption. Stay away from the chains, buy your coffee beans from an independent store like this one. Great for people watching.
