Food Scene

Melt is relatively new to the neighborhood, and there's often a line out the door. They are a small and simple ice cream shop with great flavors that change regularly.

Sightseeing

Fantastic 1970's-era point of interest, the Water Gardens are among my favorite places in Fort Worth. When you go, be sure to stop in to the T&P train station right across Lancaster for it's fantastic restored Art Deco space, now often used for weddings or other events. Just past that you'll find the T&P Tavern, a real hidden gem with a style and flair that will make you feel like it's 1915 again.

Shopping

Unique local store just a 5 minute walk away, the Old Home Supply is the go-to supply house for those of us with 100+ year old houses. With its collection of antique appliances, fixtures, decorations, and parts, it might be better described as a living museum!
