best in area for Chinese food delivery, and they have Thai too. dishes tend to be spiced a bit hotter than average so be sure to request less "heat" if you like it mild. they are closed Mondays and open for lunch the rest of the week. try the Mu Shu pork if you like making your own wraps!

we cheered the day "Timmies" opened at the top of the street. we joke going to Tim Hortons is Canada's favourite pastime! we love our "double double" (the cashiers know what this means, it's a coffee with 2 sugars and 2 cream - yum!) fresh pastries every day, solid sandwiches and soups (breakfast egg sandwiches or BLTs on whole wheat bread and donuts and more), it's a great place for breakfast or lunch when you want super casual and fast. quality experience each time. everything can be eaten at sit down or taken in a bag to go.

Karlovo is know for manufacturing and selling traditional Bulgarian, Polish, Ukrainian, Serbian, Macedonian and Spanish salami and dry meats, They also have cheese, spreads and other goodies at the Etobicoke location. Love that they are open 7 days a week since it's great to go on Sunday to stock up for the week.

The Grenadier Cafe is great for a quick take out or ICE CREAM and has a restaurant for brunch (with indoor and outdoor seating), but it isn't licensed (there is no drinking of alcoholic beverages allowed in the park) so have an ice cream cone instead!

affectionately called the "Lick-Bo" by our friends and family, the LCBO is the primary alcohol distributor in Ontario, Canada, selling wine, liquor (spirits) and beer. the beer is kept chilled in a refrigerated beer room. has a small vintages section for the more expensive fine wines. this store was renovated a couple years ago, which expanded the selection, but at peak times it gets really busy. it is so close we just walk over - remember to bring sturdy reusable shopping bags.

Store staff are attentive and great at making recommendations for different body types. But note that you are not likely to find much that fits over size 12. The brands aren't budget, so the prices aren't either. Some good finds in the sale racks. Lots of new items (yep, gotta check out the trends!) every week.
