Perfect all round restaurant/cafe/cocktail spot. Whether it's a cocktail and a dinner with you girlfriends, a coffee and brunch spot or even (and I yet can't believe it worked for this) - a group dinner when the adults are outnumbered by kids (there is one large table conveniently hidden and recessed in the wall on the right hand side - you are in nobody's way, yet you see everybody and enjoy hr atmosphere like an adult)

Most perfect breakfasts (eggs are divine and generous portions) and the setting is wonderfully designed! This is also a family friendly place although it's mostly packed on sat morning.

The best fresh baguettes and cakes outside of Paris! Everything in this pace is homemade and truly yummy! It's a perfect location to nip to for a fresh baguette in the morning, or stop by for a French breakfast but equally to grab something sweet for your tea time. You can order their products via Uber eats.

This is the perfect cafe to grab a sandwich and a coffee to go before heading off for sightseeing. They do good and affordable food, be it poached eggs or porridge for the morning, smoothies or pasta/jacket potatoes for lunch, or variety of sandwiches and bagels. They have outlived any cafe in the area because of the quality food and reasonable prices.

Parks & Nature

It is at our doorstep, it has three playgrounds for children (each covering slightly different age group - adventure one on the north side is for the bigger kids while the little one on the east side is perfect for the youngest ones; one with the open lido is for all :))

Because it is beautiful and a relaxing place to visit.... It also has two playgrounds for children of different ages, a cafe and lots of peacocks and squirrels. What I like about it is its forest feel, if you go for a walk, you don't get to see any buildings, just trees and branches covering your path. Lovely part of it is Japanese garden. The park is only 10mins on foot from Hyde Park and Kensington Palace.

Shopping

Beautifully restored old furniture on sale, some pieces come with a higher price tag but equally, you can stumble upon some real finds for example, copper dishes still aren't through the roof. Not sure how well all finding will pack but it is an interesting visit :)

Getting Around

There is no elevator. If you are with a buggy, it might be easier to hop on bus just in front of the flat on the main road, go to Hammersmith station (you need to get off after ca 3 stops) and head to town from there. It also takes approximately the same amount of time to et to the centre.

Sightseeing

This museum needs little introduction and if your children are into dinosaurs, it will be a hit. The building is beautiful and the exponents seem endless. It is fantastic option for a rainy day as you can visit two other museums that are next to it and across the road of this one. So if it rains, this will be your perfect culture and sightseeing day. The museum is sper kids friendly too!

Arts & Culture

It is fantastic option for a rainy day as you can visit Science Museum and the Nature History Museum - if you are with children, they will love it. On the ground floor Science Museum has special area where the youngest ones can play with water and become little scientists themselves :).

A very special place to visit and a great retrieve for the grown ups... Again, it can easily be combined with a visit to Nature History or Science Museum, depending on your preferences (all three would be too intensive; even two is a border line but perhaps split the visits with a lunch in between)
