Really good bread, and the mini-beignets are one of my weaknesses. Then it is a chain store, and I try to favor family-owned shops, but they do a really good job!

This is a fantastic restaurant that's rightly known for its fish but also has plenty of other good options. Not cheap, but good value for the money given the superb quality

The bread is outstanding. The baked goods are a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. Not only does this magnificent little place have all the wonderful Parisian pastries you could hope for, but they also have a lovely assortment of take-away savory dishes (salads, quiches, sandwiches…)

Well worth a visit, Alain Ducasse group purchased the restaurant two years ago and they kept everything inside the same as the iconic restaurant founded in the 1930s. The Best restaurant in Paris to eat sole meunière. The staff is very professional and friendly

Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés just beyond the outskirts of early medieval Paris, was the burial place of Merovingian kings of Neustria. At that time, the Left Bank of Paris was prone to flooding from the Seine, so much of the land could not be built upon and the Abbey stood in the middle of meadows, or prés in French, thereby explaining its appellation.
