A great place to relax for a moment, while walking on the Albert Cuyp market. Always clean and it is where the local market people go, so the prices are good. Nice coffee.

They serve very good surinam/chinese food.
They are cheap very friendly and the food is always fresh, because they are very busy. But not crowded, so you always find a spot to sit and enjoy your food. This is where Amsterdam people go, not special tourists, so the quality is good.They also do take out.

On monday morning until 13.00 hours there is a street market in the same street and on saturday there is another street market with lots of nice things, food, fruit clothes, funny items,street food, antiques, flowers etc etc. recommendable to go there on those days, but be prepared for a line. If you like to eat your apple pie more quiet go any other day and discover the nice area the Jordaan with canals and nice places

you see the harbour of Amsterdam and a great island. the ships used to have to stop there before entering the harbour Of amsterdam and during the war- times it was a look out to keep the enemies from entering the city.

Nice street market A bit more Exotic than the albertcuyp market. The area around it is also worth your while. Walk through the v Swinden straat to the Java straat or to the other side to the Oosterpark

This is a very nice place to visit. The exotic part of Amsterdam. There are lots of shops cinema restaurants a nice park. It is a city centre on its own. The area is called Zuid- Oost. The best way to travel there is by Metro. tram 2 takes you to the metro in 5 minutes. and travel to Bijlmer station.
Zuid Oost is a different world in Amsterdam. But very much a part of Amsterdam with it's 165 cultures living together side by side.
The Johan Cruyf Arena ( Big soccer stadium of Amsterdam) Is also there
