Good Italian restaurant along the seafront. They have some outside tables and usually seafood on the menu. Excellent takeaway pizzas too.

Sightseeing
Glendalough National Park in Wicklow is a wonderfully beautiful area with very well marked walks. If you don't have a car, there is a bus service St Kevins Bus (check online for the current timetable) that runs each way once a day.

Glendalough National Park in Wicklow is a wonderfully beautiful area with very well marked walks. If you don't have a car, there is a bus service St Kevins Bus (check online for the current timetable) that runs each way once a day.
Everyone loves the scenery on the Bray Cliff Walk. It's best in the earlier part of the day as you'll get the rising sun then; much of the route is in shade later in the day. Sometimes the route closes due to falling rocks, but this is clearly indicated (or people will tell you).

If you have a car, the Fern House cafe at Avoca Kilmacanogue is a really lovely interior space for a classy breakfast surrounded by plants and light... it's about 10 minutes drive from here, and there's also an expensive food/interiors/clothing shop attached...

If you have a car, this bakery and brunch and food store can be a nice place for a meal: upstairs is more formal, down at the bakery is busier and more casual. Loads of pastries, pizzas, speciality breads....

The Grain Store at Kilruddery is a beautifully restored, spacious local place to eat with much of the menu farm fresh from the attached vegetable garden and farm. On Saturdays there's a market. And year-round (i think) a garden. about 7 minutes drive from the house [a not very pleasant walk though]
