It's Denny's! What can you say? It's close, it's a diner, and it's always open. Be prepared for very long waits on gameday weekends, parents' weekend, or any other event weekend since it's so close to campus.

This is a seafood chain restaurant, more current feeling than Red Lobster. I haven't been here in a long time but it was good the last time I went. I believe it has a pretty varied menu focused on seafood.

Panera is a chain restaurant that specializes in breakfast and brunch. It has a drive thru that always seems to be busy and dine in options. Soup, salad, sandwiches, breakfast items. Also has a small bakery inside that has seasonal goodies.

Atami has a sushi bar and traditional Japanese restaurant menu in the front and hibachi in the back. We've been here many times and the hibachi chefs are very entertaining, although hibachi is a more expensive night out than most other restaurants in the immediate area.

Northgate is on the north side of University Drive and is the destination for local nightlife. The venues may come and go, but there will always be bars, a nightclub or two, late night food, and usually live music. The iconic Dixie Chicken is definitely worth a visit. Northgate is both touristy and genuinely local.
