This NY style by the slice pizzeria has been on Haight for 30 years. It’s closer to the Golden Gate park end of Haight Street so it a great opportunity to grab a slice and dine in the park. Or maybe you just grab a slice and eat while you window shop. Both are good option for a quick bite

Tacos, burritos, nachos, salads, Coca-cola in glass bottles. Dine inside, or one of 2 outside bistro tables or take it to go. We didn’t have trouble finding an inside table on a busy Saturday. My companion enjoyed the carne asada tacos Mexico City style, saying the meat was delish and fresh. I tried the veggie burritos bowl (made it vegan with black beans and no cheese) and I enjoyed every bite. Bathrooms for customers. My buddy feared get stuck in the Bathroom, as door seemed get stuck, push close to the 6 o’clock to get out.

We didn’t have trouble finding an inside table on a busy Saturday. My companion enjoyed the carne asada tacos Mexico City style, saying the meat was delish and fresh. Parking
Haight street is metered so make sure to set your alarm on your phone before you walk away. Give yourself a few minutes to walk back to the car. More likely to be ticketing in metered locations. Better parking options on side streets in case you didn’t win the parking lotto on the first pass by. As always read the signs ( 2 hour spot) and note where you left you car so you can find it again. And never park over someone’s driveway! If you are shopping at Amoeba Records they have free parking validation with a lot behind the store with purchase

Bathrooms
Can get scarce when hanging out in Haight street, especially after COVID. Several shops or restaurants will allow customers to use bathroom with purchase. Just ask at register if you are unsure. I’ve notated those I have recently verified. Bathrooms at panhandle park and grassy park at west end of Haight street are open to public.
