Old Drumchapel is a peaceful neighbourhood with everything you need on your doorstep. Great Western Retail Park is within a 5 minute walk with a host of shopping, including Sainsbury's Supermarket, B&Q, B&M a Mecca Bingo Hall, KFC, Burger King, McDonalds, Costa and the first Gregg's drive through. To name a few! Also close by we have a wealth of leisure facilities within a 5-10 minute walk is Drumchapel Swimming Pool, Drumchapel Tennis Courts, and the Donald Dewar Sports Centre. A little further afield in Knightswood with a 10-30 minute walk or catch a bus 2 minute walk to bus stop to take you to Knightswood Golf Course, BMX International Track, Scotstoun Leisure Centre, and Glasgow Warriors Rugby ground. Easily accessable to Loch Lomond National Park and a wealth of Hill walking opportunities within a 15-minute drive. You can also explore the new walkway from Bowling to Helensburgh. The Forth and Clyde Canal entrance is a 2 minute walk away, which takes you West to Bowling in Dunbartonshire, or heading North East to as far as The Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies. The West Highland Way Entrance is a 10 minute drive away, alternatively you can take a 10 minute train journey to Milngavie to take you there. Drumchapel train station is a 5 minute walk away, and 15-20 minute ride will get you into the Centre of Glasgow. Alternatively a 10 minute ride will take you to Partick train station and the heart of the Westend with an abundance of restaurants cafes, bars and nightlife to explore in Finnieston, Byers Road, Ashton Lane, and Great Western Road to Oran Mor for a Play, a Pie and a Pint, or a stroll through The Botanic Gardens. Easily accesable by train (14 min) is the OVO Hydro and SECC for concerts and conferences. You can also find The Cloisters at Glasgow University, Glasgow Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and Kelvingrove Park to explore. As you can see, you are central to explore and experience whatever your heart desires while enjoying a peaceful suburb to relax and unwind after a busy day.

One of only 11 Cantilever Cranes left in the world, this was used to load steam locomotives to ship throughout the world. Nearby is also the entertainment hub with some of the best concerts in the world hosted here within The Hydro Arena, SECC, and The Armadillo. Before heading to your concert, or after your conference, you can sample the delights of the Cranston Kitchen or enjoy a cocktail in the rooftop Skybar in the Radisson Red Hotel with great views over Glasgow and down the River Clyde. If your in the mood for a good olè belly laugh, the Rotunda Comedy club is also located here.
