This is a great place to hike to with kids. You can walk from the house down Alfonso Arnulfo Road toward the Zilker Clubhouse. Take a right where the trail starts and windy our way down across the dry creek up toward the owl and hawk exhibit to the Center. If you have any feathers, bones, shells, etc or find one on the way you can trade it at the trading center inside the main building for something else! Lots of natural treasures to see there:). There are also lots of kids activities, rescued animals, and beautiful spots. From there you can walk to Town Lake Trail, and Rowing Dock for stand up paddle boarding or kayaking.
