Sightseeing
Como Park Zoo is a wonderful smaller zoo. There is a suggested donation as an entrance fee. You will see gorillas, orangutans, zebras, giraffe, polar bears, seals and more! On site there is also a small amusement park in the winter. The conservatory is open all year, which can serve as a mini getaway in the middle of a Minnesota winter. The plants are absolutely beautiful and will make you feel rejuvenated.

My family enjoys going to the downtown St Paul farmers market on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We love the fresh doughnuts, lemonade, popcorn and perogies, as well as all of the fresh fruits, veggies and herbs. Don’t forget to bring home a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

A great place to workout! With all the equipment you need and only $3/day, you can’t get any better than that. There is also a great water park to spend the afternoon at. Two larger slides, a pool to swim laps, a diving board and a zero depth pool with fountains and smaller tides for younger kids.
