The Flying Goat serves great food and beer. Their pizzas are delicious. My favorite is their yellow curry pizza called D Street. They also have a great Guinness beef stew. You can even bring a growler of beer home with you. Pro trip: take the growler in the kitchen pantry with you so you only have to pay for a refill.

I love Wooden City! Their food is delicious! One of my all time favorite meals is their beet ravioli. Their Anaheim stuffed peppers are delicious too. Keep in mind that they don’t open until 4:00pm and I’d recommend making a reservation in advance. It’s well worth a visit. Fun fact: the first time I ordered the beet ravioli was before I had eye surgery and I thought I had ordered beef ravioli. I ended up being pleasantly surprised :)

If you are looking for a vegetarian or vegan place to eat I recommend trying Rüt. They have a lot of great options on their menu and they also serve delicious craft cocktails.

Wild Sage Bistro is the priciest recommendation I have but if you want a nice dinner that you’ll remember Wild Sage Bistro fits the bill. They have consistently been in the top 5 of every list of best places to eat in Spokane. It’s one of the first restaurants I tried. Their polenta fries are delicious. The food is expensive but worth it for a special occasion! You’ll definitely want to make a reservation in advance!

If you’re looking for a breakfast place you can check out The Yards Bruncheon located in Kendall Yards. Their view of the Spokane River is great and they make a mean chicken and waffles. You can also grab a a loaf of freshly made bread to take home with you.

Do you have a group of people who have different food needs? Meat lovers and vegetarians? Vegans? Then you might want to try Cascadia Public House. They focus on locally grown food and have over 15 plant based dishes. The mood here is casual with a focus on good food so feel free to just stop by.

Atticus Coffee and Gifts is a cute little place to grab a cup of Joe as you look around downtown Spokane. Make sure you pop into Boo Radley’s next door so you can check out all their quirky merch.
