Spectacular waterfalls especially in spring with the snow melt, follow the path from the village of Lillaz all the way to the top (not suitable if you have mobilty problems). The pretty village is an ideal place to enjoy lunch or an icecream. Approx 50 minutes away by car.

The nature reserveof Les Iles is just 15 minutes walk down the hill through the village or take the car and park beside the pizzeria directly by the path. There is a large lake where you can watch the wildlife and many places to sit and enjoy nature. A level path runs around the reserve which is suitable for children and buggies.

Skiing/walking/cycling

Our closest ski area. The main Aosta to Pila gondola is just 15 minutes by car. Non skiers can take the gondola up to enjoy the bars and restaurants or go for a walk and experience the amazing views. In spring the slopes are carpeted in wild flowers and thoughout the warmer months it is a walking and biking paradise. During the summer months the gondola takes walkers and bikers up to Pila, some of the chairlifts are also open to take you high into the moiuntain.

There are many walking trails in and around Brissogne, from a half an hour easy stroll to see the chapel of Vaud and the abandoned village to a full days hike to lake Laures and everything in between. Many of the trails are accessible directly from our house.
