This is the park of Fremont area. It was once an industrial gas plant that was turned into a park many years ago. The industrial towers are still there and add to the land scape. It is the place to sit and look over the WHOLE city, boats, sea planes, and people watching. Off the Burke Gilman trail. A great bike ride and a place to bring a picnic!
"Gas Works Park in Seattle, Washington is a 19.1-acre public park on the site of the former Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant, located on the north shore of Lake Union at the south end of the Wallingford neighborhood."
