Local Marina
Patriot Point is now offering free boat rides from our rental house to the Marina and back for guests upon reservation. Call or text (573=284=9392). Ask for the one of the owners Rick or Jennifer. You can have a nice boat ride and go hang out and enjoy the other side of the lake and get out on the water for a bit! Great place to pick up grocery’s and alcohol. They have great margaritas! My favorite being the Cucumber Jalapeño. Formally known as Rebel Harbor now called Patriot Point. This place is currently being remodeled and they are adding tons of amenities. They have tons of outdoor seating and outdoor games like corn hole and sand volleyball, giant Connect Four and a golf driving area where you can practice your drives into the lake with biodegradable golf balls. Multiple sand boxes for young kids to play in as well as bunnies for kids to pet. They currently cook up pizza and Buffalo wings during the week with smoked bbq sandwiches served in addition on the weekend. They also have a large variety of snacks and drinks. Great Views of the main channel!

By boat is maybe a 5 min ride to the other side of lake where you can enjoy a good selection of food and beverages. The Shootout is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the US with some crazy fast boats.

Very good BBQ spot about 40 min drive to Osage Beach side of the lake. Owners are very friendly and they have won many awards for their Buffalo Wings so if decide to head over to the busier side of the lake def check them out.

Fiery Fork Conservation Area is in Camden County, 15 miles northwest of Camdenton and seven miles east of Climax Springs, off Highway 7. The area includes 1,509 acres of oak and hickory forest and was named after Fiery Fork Creek, which flows into the Niangua River. There is a camping area at the end of the road and access road near the campgrounds is an access road to the stream where you can fish, swim and even find arrowheads. Stream contains large and small mouth bass. There are also hiking trails to enjoy and an abundance of wildlife
