The Ballard Institute curates and produces exhibitions of puppetry, both at the Ballard Museum and for touring across the United States. *The Mansfield Hollow State Park was created when damming of the Natchaug River created a 500-acre lake for boating and fishing. No swimming is allowed since part of the lake is used for public water supply, but kayaking is wonderful!. There are several trails in the park to hike.
