Eze is a most worthy day-trip while visiting Cote d'Azur. It is a reasonably short bus trip (1,5 EUR) from Nice and affords one of the greatest views of the French Riveria.
Tour the castle and its gardens and take in the small shops and nice restaurants, especially LaTaverne d'Antan.
Places to see:
1) Visit a perfume factory "Fragonard and Galimard" - guided tours are FREE and taken by a perfume specialist
2) Walk through the old city
3) Visit the botanical garden of Jardin Exotique on the top of the mountain (6 EUR)
4) Find Nietzsche's path and go down to the sea (you can then take the bus 100 to go back to Nice)
