Cole Valley Food scene

One of the best breakfast spots in the city, not just Cole Valley. Don't miss their gingerbread pancakes and eggs benedict. Get there early if you don't want to wait in line.

Great local and organic market, with awesome sandwiches - take them up to Tank Hill for a picnic with a panoramic view.

Great little locals wine bar in Cole Valley that serves simple tapas. Walk inside and you'll feel like you're tucked away in an Italian cafe. Bonus you can get wine to go.

So many options in Golden Gate Park from museums to fishing. Walk less than 10 minutes and you're in front of the Conservatory of Flowers. Right around the corner is the De Young and the California Academy of Science. On the weekends you'll find plenty of people on roller skates, bikes and simply dancing in the streets.

Neighborhoods

The neighborhood next store is full of character, feel the 'love' vibe while you go in and out of vintage shops and boutiques. You can always stop for cocktails along the way at Zam Zam or Alembic. Magnolia is a great place for a burger and beer. Sightglass for a shot of caffeine.

Walk a little further and you're in NoPa near the famous painted ladies. So much good food here and local shops you could waste a whole afternoon and not get very far. The original NOPA can't be beat, their brunch is the bomb. Bi-rite has some of the best ice cream in the city and The Mill has the best $5 toast you can buy (it really is worth it!). I could go on and on...

What locals know...

San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world but the weather is fickle. No matter what time of year you visit bring a jacket and extra layers. It's hilly! And I mean hilly! Not great for heels. Bring your cute comfortable walking shoes for when you're out and about during the day. You'll thank me later.
