Although Plano is named for the flat plains of the area, large trees abound in the city's many parks. There are two main open space preserves: Arbor Hills Nature Preserve (200 acres) and Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve (800 acres). Bob Woodruff Park and Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve are connected by biking trails, making the green space one large uninterrupted park space that is larger than Central Park in New York City (840 acres).

The Dallas North Tollway is super close!
If you need to do some shopping - you have The Shops at Willow Bend (5 min away), Legacy West and Shops at Legacy (8 min away).
If you want great food - there are several restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Everything from casual to fine dining.
If you need to get the basics - Costco, Tom Thumb Grocery, Home Depot or Whole Foods is just down the street.
