Fishtown is very picturesque. There are restaurants, ice cream places, light tourist shopping and a nice beach right there.

This is the most visited island in MI. Even though it tends to be a bit touristy, it's very magical.
You can take a ferry from Mackinaw City or you can cross the bridge and take one from St Ignace.
Rarely are any cars allowed on the island so if you can bring your bikes for a fee on the ferry or rent bikes on the island.
Horse carriage rides available.
Get some fudge if you go up there.

Amazing biking / walking paved trail along Lake MI. This trail goes from Charlevoix through Petoskey all the way to Harbor Springs. There are a couple of parking spots to picnic, rest or just park your car along the route.

Bring your stretch pants. Bread is fresh and and amazing, but you have to get there early though. Bread is usually done by 9am.
They make different artisan loaves but this is a small place so the quantities are low
