Highest continuous road in North American. It is open during the summer. Closes with the first major snowstorm and does not reopen until Memorial Day.
Opens in late June through early fall. It will stay open until it is impassable because of snow. It is a one way dirt road to the top of Trail Ridge Road. It takes about an hour to go up. Good late afternoon drive.
