I moved to Rouen 10 years ago to study and stayed ever since. It’s a very authentic French city representative of the Normandy region and very well preserved from the second WW.
There are many nice and unique places to visit - both cultural, historical, and popular.
For instance, there is the Jeanne of Arc church where Jeanne of Arc was executed, the Cathedral where there are luminous projections every summer at night time, the Museum of Arts, and many others.
Personally, I love walking in the quais of La Seine and having dinner overlooking the water in one of the restaurants there.
