Gusto is a bakery and cafe. They sell a fabulous selection of breads and cakes. I am a great fan of their cakes, which are delicious and gluten free. They even sell tiny cupcakes for $2, for that "not-too-naughty" snack.

It's opposite the beach, a few minutes walk from my home. Marcel, the owner, makes his guests feel right at home, often introducing lone travellers to locals.

The Exlounge
471 Bronte RdThis is a very friendly, inexpensive restaurant, popular with Bronte locals. It has a warm, intimate atmosphere and often has a guitarist playing on Thursday nights. It's opposite the beach, a few minutes walk from my home. Marcel, the owner, makes his guests feel right at home, often introducing lone travellers to locals.
This is quite an experience. A stunningly renovated, 3 storey restaurant, cafe, bar and children's play area, all rolled into one. Overlooking gorgeous Coogee Beach; it's not to be missed. The pizzas and calarmari are to die for!

169 Dolphin StThis is quite an experience. A stunningly renovated, 3 storey restaurant, cafe, bar and children's play area, all rolled into one. Overlooking gorgeous Coogee Beach; it's not to be missed. The pizzas and calarmari are to die for!

The Starfish Club is an iconic nightclub catering for local music lovers. It's held at the Clovelly Bowling Club, on the first Monday of every month. The music is a mix of Jazz, Blues and Rock, with well known musicians often in the audience. The setting is stunning, propped up on a cliff, overlooking the ocean. Drinks and meals are inexpensive. The surcharge is between $20-$30.
